Long time no see, friendsBB The Music! Thread updateNo new songs added, but I managed to sort out my YT playlist…
Thank you so much for putting in the effort to creating these lists and finding these songs. I had been looking for them but couldn't find them, so I asked here on this page and they sent me your thread. I found all of the songs I was looking for and I've been listening to the ost nonstop ever since ^^
I'll be brave and post my honest (personal) opinion:
Tbh, underwhelming. I think that there were a lot of missed opportunities with how the story could've unfolded. It was a bit jumpy at times and I don't have much knowledge of politics/activism etc. so there were times I couldn't keep up. I'm also a comedy lover so the fact that there were none in Not Me made it harder for me to enjoy it to the fullest. There were no wow moments and I'm not sure if the characters ever learnt anything from their mistakes because I didn't see them improve during their missions. The ending was very bland; a lot of loose ends and cliché happy endings that I found quite uncreative. I'd prefer it if the ending was less "happy" and more realistic in this case; I think it'd better fit this type of story. Oh well... maybe I'll rewatch Not Me someday and change my mind on some things ^^;
Bbbuttt! The acting! It was incredible! Especially Gun is so talented! He looked so handsome in this drama too; he really suits the Black fashion style lol. First looked really cool too. I became a First fan after finishing The Shipper.
Despite my harsh comments, Not Me was good. I liked the first half the most. If this series gets a 2nd season, I could forgive that bland ending. But tying the knot so loosely like this was very underwhelming, like I said ^^; Anyway, 8/10 :)
Seeing the year this was made, I'm feeling iffy about the ages of the actors. But I'm gonna try watching it because of Ohm. The tag says fake kisses; hoping they stick to that then
What a beautiful movie. As someone who believes in reincarnation, this movie touched me deeply. Only focusing on the surface of this movie will fail to show you its beauty, whilst only focusing on the message and beauty of the movie will make you seem ignorant, even though it is not your intention. I understand both sides of the argument, but I choose to see the movie as it is.
I haven't seen the Korean version of this movie; I picked up this movie because of Ohm. His performance in this movie was really good, as always.
I guess it will be the two of them open ending concerning the social issues it won't be over for sure and Dan…
When Dan started talking about taking Yok home to meet his parents I immediately gave up hope on their happy ending (I've seen this scenario too many times before in dramas). I don't think it will end well for them, no matter if Yok forgives him or not.
Sean and White will have a happy ending for sure. I don't think that Black will die, but it's a possibility. I will be sad if he dies, that's for sure :/
The social issues is what's bothering me. In my book it's impossible to resolve it within the last episode. That's why I can't see a happy ending overall for this series (or season, if there is any possibility for a continuation of the story).
Also, the bromance... +_+
