As a fan of his who has seen all of his dramas, I honestly don't know what I should think about this. That phone case is problamatic. I find it very disturbing that he's using a phone case like that, especially since the artist who created it isn't famous or anything. Unless that artist is his fan and gave him that phone case, I don't think it can be justifiable that he's using it.
He's a celebrity, but we don't know him. We can only assume things based on the information we receive. Since he/they aren't providing any clarification, we can only speculate. Does the silence mean that he's innocent or guilty? Maybe he believes he didn't do anything wrong, and that's why he isn't commenting on it. Maybe he just doen't care at all. Who knows? Not me. Not you.
I'm not gonna waste any more emotions or thoughts on this. I'll just wait and see. But I probably won't watch any more of his work for now.
So if Yeomhwa made it so Gyeonu gets all his family’s misfortune all these years, it makes me wonder what bad things they have been up to… and when we will see them beg him for forgiveness
This drama is underrated! Sure, it took 4 episodes for me to get into it, but after that I was invested. I watched it for Choo Youngwoo and I'm so glad I did because his acting in Oasis is the best I've seen from him! I've seen the majority of his work so I already know how talented he is, but this is another level! No wonder he won an award for this role. The OST is amazing and the story is really dramatic and detailed. I thought this type of drama wouldn't be my cup of tea because of the low score, 80s-90s vibes and the melodrama, but I was wrong. I have no regrets!
As a fan of Park Gyuyoung, I would've liked to see more scenes with her. I wanted to see her commit the crimes! I wanted more out of Seungju's backstory; I want to see more of her trauma. As much as I loved seeing Park Gyuyoung in a villain role and as much as I like seeing female villains, the ending was not satisfying...
I just finished binging this to the latest episode and I'm confused about the episode release dates since I didn't keep up to date with this drama until now. Will both remaining episodes be released next week?
The cancer patients are mostly old; the only young case had to do with a girl who went too long without a period…
Thank you! I was thinking of skipping this based on the previous reply from another user, but since you said you have health anxiety as well, maybe I can try it after all. Do you remember what episodes showed it?
And no, I’m not pregnant ^^; Congratulations to your sister!
Can someone spoil me what kind of medical things they deal with? I understand it has to do with childbirth, but I have health anxiety so I want to know if someone is sick and in that case what kind of illness they have before I decide if I should watch it. Also, do you have to watch Hospital Playlist before watching this?
If someone can answer my questions I will be really thankful...!
Something I really don't like about Cdramas is the glorification of overworking. It's an awful issue in real life in East Asia and I hate how it's portrayed in Cdramas. A personal preference of mine is that I'm not a fan of wuxia nor the super cutesy modern romantic Cdramas. These things on top of the excessive dubbing is what makes it hard for me to find a Cdrama that I enjoy. I don't have much knowledge about the censorship issue besides the censoring of lgbtq+ themes (which is sad). Taiwan seems to be a lot freer in that aspect and I have yet to watch any dubbed Taiwanese drama.
Some Cdramas I have enjoyed tho are: 'Shining for One Thing', 'The Day of Becoming You' and 'Time and Him Are Just Right'. All of which have cute romance but also some kind of twist to them. 'Reset' was also good. Then there is my favourite movie as well, 'Better Days'.
I agree that 2025 Kdramas have been good so far from what I've seen. Dear Hongrang wasn't horrible, I still completed it after all. It just wasn't my cup of tea.
China's need for the "perfect and flawless" Mandarin is one of the main reasons why Cdramas are not in the majority in my watchlist. The excessive dubbing is very distracting to me. It was very strange to hear it in a Korean drama for a change and it badly affected my enjoyment of it.
The drama was very quiet besides the voices, sound effects and (very good) music. It's so quiet that I think it's an artistic choice by the director. I'm not a sound expert, this is just my observations and how my experience was when watching. It all comes down to personal preference, and this wasn't my cup of tea.
That's why I said I used the wrong term probably. It's not strange that I was misunderstood. Idk the right word; I thought dub worked but I guess it's wrong.
