Reading the Korean title here in the description 종이의 집, it says that it's called Paper House (lit. The…
I only watched a couple of episodes of the original a few years ago so I don’t have any insight on that ^^; But I do think that Paper House sounds better regardless :) But no matter the name, as long as it’s enjoyable I’m happy.
Actually I’ve tried this 3 times and felt the same...I’m a romantic but just can’t dig it here and around…
I love romance as well (saying I preferred sadness was irony lol ^^) but it just feels unnecessary here in K2. I don't think it served much of a purpose. I really liked the first few episodes when there were lots of action and he wasn't tied down. I don't dislike Anna but I did get bored the more she showed up ^^; I do agree that it picked up towards the end tho.
I've seen up to episode 10 now and I think the drama would've been better without the romance. Just him doing his job because it's his way of life, and also to get to that Park Kwan Soo. I think it would've been better if he just kept missing the girl from Iraq for the rest of his life (yes I prefer sadness). That's how I feel after having seen 10 episodes of K2.
I love Ji Changwook but I haven't seen this drama yet. Almost all the comments are saying it's bad so I'm really second guessing whether or not I should start this drama. No matter its flaws, is it worth the watch?
Have liked Im Shiwan since Strangers From Hell but I was still hesitant to start this drama as it's a slice of life so I was worried I'd become bored. But omg... 10/10 it was amazing! Take this from a horror, hidden identity, time travel loving drama fan... it's worth your time no matter your drama taste!
When I think back on early episodes we got to see how JG family handle conflicts and arguments. Or are not handling…
I can definitely see that. Also, I just hate the mother so much. Have she ever done anything nice in this drama?? Either way, it's not weighing up to all the bad and annoying things she've done.
Surprisingly I see a lot of negative comments. Maybe it's because I watched I-Land after ENHYPEN debuted that I feel like this. I liked it. I focused more on the contestants, their personalities, their feelings, their friendship and their talents. I didn't focus on how the show was built because I didn't think that that was that important. Shows like these are unfair, that's just how it is. But I'm sure that none of the contestants regretted attending I-Land. I'm sure they learnt a lot and made lots of good friends. I think we should draw the attention back to the actual people in the show, instead of focusing on the people behind the scenes.
I also want to remind everyone that even the smartest person can be wrong, so don't jump on the bandwagon just because someone says that they have a lot of knowledge in this field. Judging or making assumptions about people you've never met isn't appropriate. So, this of course means that you don't have to agree with me either.
This movie isn't something I'd normally go for and I only decided to watch it as I'm a fan of Yamaken. I couldn't recognise him in this movie (in a good way) as I'm used to seeing him in my favourite shojo adaptations and as the eccentric Otaro/Eight in Todome no Kiss. His acting in this movie is amazing, it really shows what he's capable of. I found myself crying at the end of the movie. Although this isn't necessarily my cup of tea, I'm really glad I watched this movie. If someone ever wanted to explore outside of their normal drama/movie "box" I'd definitely recommend this movie to them.
finishing this drama left a hole in my life. anyone know something similar to this?
I'd suggest Someday or One Day. Although Someday or One Day is a bit more complex when it comes to the time traveling part, there are also bonuses like extremely cute romance. It also has dark themes in it as well and be prepared to cry a lot hahaha. ^^; Both Todome no Kiss and Someday or One Day are my favourite dramas, so give Someday or One Day a shot if you have time.

I'm just saying: let's be kind humans. ^^
