Is this at all any good? 7.9 seems like a really low MDL rating for K-drama standards.
Honestly, 7.9 is not bad. Also, there are dramas 8.5 that are not that great fo many people.

It actually make sense, though. They investigate in different area/with different people and group of villans. The fact that they are twins, doesn't mesn they have to be together all the time, besides, it seems like they don't get slong with each together. They make a long call and they talk some things out jn episode 5.

To me he is acting like kinda dumb, annoying young guy (as the chracters was written), I wouldnt say it's bad acting.

Not child rape. If I am not mistaken, he convinced/made some 17/18 year old girl to sleep with someone for a role in a movie. Horrible, but he is not a child molester, don't twist it.

I doubt it. If they did change things recently, they would not make the lawyer Jung that sick, doesn't make sense.

Well, like this it would be older versions of the main cast, so it won't be as odd, as them starting right the day it ended in the first season finale.

Ufff, i'm a bit worried, i love LJG one of my favourite actors, i think he will do a great Saya, but the Eun Seom…
I think LJG can pull of that innocent side (he is just four years older than the original actor, and he can look sweet and naive, so that should not be an issue) but they will probably do 10 year time jump, anyway. I didn't watch season 1 yet, maybe I will watch it later on, so I can remember the stuff that happened, when the second season comes :)
