I don't have much to say this time, things are on course, there is a love confession.. --- However the cliffhanger is stupid, especially with the ridiculous teaser. These jokesters, I swear a year from now probably the teasers will be the only thing I remember about this drama. (oh well and maybe the Hae Jun couple)
This is not a bad drama but it is typical of many long family dramas. It started strong for the first ten episodes…
> Be warned, if you are not comfortable watching 30 or 40 year-old "children" being controlled by their "elders" you may have a problem with this series.
Sure, but that applies to 80% of all kdramas. Here at least the children have gotten their way.
Look at the the writer's complete track record, or just watch Dr. Romantic 1-2. The best we can hope for is decent romance, with a certain middle aged doctor shouting a bit less than in the previous 2 seasons. However good story? I think yellow snow in summer is far more likely.
The worst synopsis of all time, though I'm still shocked that this drama got a second season. It could still be really fun, give them the benefit of the doubt, right?
It depends. I think if you liked other family dramas such as My Father is Strange, Once Again, Five Enough, then watching a slightly less fun family drama like this will be fine, otherwise I would rather watch those instead to see, if you can tolerate this subgenre. (family dramas try to please all age groups, so there is a large variety of content that you may find boring regardless of your mental age)
I have just been striken by something, tell me if you think my imagination went wild: what if... the grand-pa…
Considering that the whole setup looked like the grandpa would be the liver donor, but then that was debunked with the drama characters taking his age seriously, I think it's entirely possible.
Who else thinks that you should not have children if you yourself and your partner cannot raise the child and…
In Korea corporate slaves working 14 hours a day often become parents due to outside pressure and it is normal for the retired grandparents to raise them kids. It sucks, but it is what it is. (and this is why their fertility rates are the lowest in the world) Obviously Hae Jun is pretty loaded, so she can afford to hire a caretaker for their baby..
(take these with a grain of salt, because I did not understand a lot in this episode's conversations)
-Yoon Jae's injury was a lot of fun -Family members were tested, but none of them are compatible donors. (grandpa has not been tested yet) -Mother in law had a 1 on 1 conversation with Yoona, it seemed very amicable, but I have no idea what they talked about. :-( -Lot of people in the know cry about the cancer situation. -The cliffhanger is Mirae "finding out" and feeling sudden illness, the baby is unlikely to be in danger, but that's what the cliffy is about..

Anything is possible though..
