Does this drama have a random 2 year separation plot? (If yes, I would just rather postpone watching it for a while then, just to avoid flipping the table)
I thought the same about singing. Just watched episode 5. And when he sang with the musicians on the street, I…
Korean idol singers are basically professional dancers, being a pretty and skilled dancer is the most important factor. There are exceptions of course, but in a typical idol group of seven it's already miraculous, if 3 of them have singing talent.
I wonder if IU being so dominantly successful would change this over time.. (she is an actual musician and her agency is not restricting her talent)
no, it's not a LT. the second couple have one, though.
Not even the writers know, if there is going to be a love triangle or not. It's live filming and live writing, the feedback of the Korean audience will matter. The teasers don't mean anything, teasers often end up non canon .
I don't even understand what her scandal is about. She was an obsessive controlling girlfriend? Why exactly is that such a huge deal? Why should we, or the knetz care? Where is this information even coming from?
This is perhaps the single best comment I've ever seen on MDL. An article in it's own right. I must agree whole…
I think without Goblin, dramas like Hotel Del Luna, Tale of the Nine Tailed, Mystic Popup Bar and Angel's Last Mission would not have been made. Goblin's influence can be felt in more ways than one.
Anyway, it was a great article, despite me disagreeing with your two main points. ( 1, Sisyphus being a good drama 2, It being potentially influential)
The concept of the photoshoot of the cover is similar to that of the Korean drama "Fight for my way". They might…
Not saying it's not inspired by it, but the composition is completely different & the pink is different too. It's not like Fight For My Way revolutionized how 4 people sharing a plaid are photographed.
I think the ratings are inflated for everything on this site, atleast compared to imdb. But that said I think that…
On MDL selection bias is a huge thing. Everyone reads reviews and drama summaries and people are unlikely to start/rate something they wouldn't enjoy. (unlike your significant other, or kids dragging you to the cinema, or watching something on TV while being half asleep)
Imdb is no longer what it once was, big AAA productions used to be inflated by fake votes. Now it's even weirder though, the ratings make no sense for some recent (oscar winning) movies.
Every drama is getting a sequel this year. Billions of seasons is why I stopped watching American shows. I liked…
I agree with you 100%. I understand that if people like something they want more of it, but I wish they realized that the reason why they like these shows is because they tell complete stories in 16 episodes..
No please, I don't hate him or anything, in fact I really loved his acting in Dream High (pretty old drama lol)…
I have watched and even reviewed Flower of Evil. Anyhow the point I was trying to make is that no matter how great Flower of Evil and Beyond Evil were and how well the actors in question performed in those shows, the average viewership ratings in South Korea were relatively low for both, so they have a negligible chance for Daesang. (average ratings of 3.927% and 4.716% respectively)
Only commercially successful dramas win big awards, it's unfair, but that's just how it is.
Seriously puzzled as to why this only rated 8.7. I see other shows on 9+ that for me are in no way superior to…
This is one of the best romance dramas I have ever seen. 9+ dramas are non romance and also some ppl just gave this a low rating due to not liking to watch mental illness related stuff.

Let's cancel the cancel culture..
