I really don't want this to be that. I hope he left because he realised she's abusive, not because his plan was dangerous. I think Kang-ho only came to know about his father after he became a prosecutor (or while he was preparing) iirc and he had stopped talking to his mom soon after leaving for Seoul. He was working as a part-timer before and wasn't in touch with her.

This is strict parenting its not abusing. There is fine line between the two. She didnt make her kid starve.
she beat him up, she didn't even let him eat, she didn't let him play or go on picnics or watch TV, and she always forced him to study. even when he was locked inside the school, the first thing she worried about was the classes he missed. she told him off for saving his friend because he had an exam. 🤦‍♂️this is abuse. it's not strict parenting. if my parent did that, i’d go no contact with them.

she literally abused him his whole life. he learned everything from her (all shit things) and she ruined his relationship with everything (his dreams, people, power, food). I don't like the son, but I understand him going no contact with the mother and refusing to see her.
