Bruh, same! I was so scared this convo might go in a nasty direction lol, so I’m very relieved it didn’t and that we are able to have a very civil debate about it❤️. Some people go absolutely nuts in the comments, which confuses me cuz at the end of the day, these are just shows. Not worth getting getting horribly rude about

Lol Ik there's no romance so far and it's full on comedy so far😭. I also know that the student teacher doesn't necessarily mean romance and I didn't take it seriously. I was just saying that I personally hope this show continues the same funny way and that there isn't any romance line for them in the future eps because that would be a turn off for me. I really enjoyed the first few eps and I'm waiting for the rest of the eps to come out. I would be sad if I watched every ep and then get suddenly smacked in the face with surprise romance. That's what i meant😭😅 Also, power imbalance is something that I'm not a fan of in general, but grade student-teacher romances are something I absolutely cannot tolerate. However, this is just a me thing and that's how I feel. So thats why im waiting on it rn

I understand what you mean, but I think those situations are pretty different. An abusive relationship in a drama is one very bad thing, which I also will not enjoy, but a teacher–student romance has a built‑in power imbalance that makes it problematic for me personally, I just don’t enjoy that dynamic. But everyone has their own comfort levels, so it’s fine if others feel differently😁. Once again, don't let my opinions bother you

I get what you’re saying, but I think there’s a misunderstanding. My issue isn’t about the characters being creepy or people falling in love, it’s about the dynamic itself. Even if she’s 18, she’s still a high school student and he’s still her teacher, which creates a built‑in power imbalance. He has authority over her grades, discipline, and daily school life, so it’s not comparable to two random adults with the same age gap. Teachers are expected to maintain professional boundaries. Even if she or any of the girls pursue him, it’s still his responsibility as the adult in a position of authority not to cross that line. And waiting until she’s “officially” an adult doesn’t really fix it. The influence and power dynamic don’t disappear the moment she turns 18. If the show goes romantic, those feelings would almost certainly develop while she’s still his student, which makes the relationship feel rooted in an unequal situation. I get what you're saying about kindness, but for me, kindness doesn’t mean ignoring boundaries. Saying “who are we to stop them” sounds good in theory, but this isn’t just about two people with a moderate age gap. It’s about a teacher with professional obligations. I'm not trying to be harsh because it's an “out of the box” situation, but mainly because these situations can cause real harm/unfairness. I don't think calling that out is unkind. You can be kind and still say, “this isn’t appropriate.” I'm absolutely not saying live is a crime. It’s about the power imbalance. I’ve seen too many real-life cases where teacher student relationships ended really badly (heck, one of my teachers got arrested for this very reason), and even though this is just a drama, it’s not something I enjoy watching. But if you’re into it, that’s totally fine. Please don’t let my rambling stop you or bother you😁
I really want to watch this. The FL seems really funny too. But, please no student teacher romance🙏 Please Please Please don't make this creepy🤞If they give her romance, please let it be someone her age and not her damn teachers😥. Idc if the age gap is small. He is literally her teacher. No no no (EDIT: Guys, I'm not a fan of grade-student/teacher relationships at all, but this is just my take. Don't let my opinion bother whatever opinion you have of this and the show )
Honestly, I'm still very hyped and interested in watching this show because the plot seems crazy interesting, but I do find it odd that they're streaming this on Gagaoolala (an exclusively LGBTQ+ streaming platforms) and have tagged it as office-romance and BL. I thought this was a bromance/buddy show?? Is it a romance or a bromance? Or is there a side character who is queer? I'm confused! Somebody help!!!
Foundation wearing general controversy...Taiwan-China tensions....What is this article!? Also, why on earth are we bringing politics into this website? I don't remember this being a general news website
Bruh, what is going on in this comment section. I enjoy watching BLs, but I was genuinely excited about the concept of this show. The pilot was solid and the official trailer looks amazing. Who cares if it’s BL, GL, bromance, or hetero!? It looks like a good story.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I do wish GMM would make BLs/GLs with this kind of genre and budget. Is it disappointing that 90% of their BL/GL projects get terribly weak storylines and tiny budgets even though they pump out so many every year? Absolutely. But taking that frustration out on a hetero or bromance shows, complaining about their existence, and calling its cast/crew homophobic is just not it. Y'all need to take your problems with GMMTV rather than attacking bromance/hetero shows and its actors . Bromance shows and hetero shows are allowed to exist. If you really want GMMTV to do something regarding the quality of their BLs/GLs, then boycott them. Stop watching their BLs and GLs. Trend that company for acting like this. Stop going to their events. Prove to them that you won't just settle with bad quality shows, Prove that you're not the type who will settle for bad quality because of your loyalty to your fav actors. That's what will get GMM to pay attention. Complaining while still watching their shows is going to do absolutely nothing.
And I really don’t get why people are so pressed about SkyNani not wanting to be in a BL‑ship. Wild concept, I know, but actors are allowed to choose what they do and don’t want to act in. Not wanting to do BL doesn’t automatically make someone homophobic. We’ve literally seen actors who did BLs just for the fame while still holding their homophobic views. Doing BL doesn’t magically make someone an ally. So, let's all calm our brains down and either watch the show or ignore it watch something else.
The trailer looks AMAZING! The special effects look really well-done too. Looking forward to watching this. Hopefully, it has a cohesive storyline without any plotholes🤞
Just finished the drama. It was a cute, sweet, and fluffy little drama. The plot isn't anything out of the box or crazy, but it is pretty well-done for me. I enjoyed and gave it a 9.
Qin's parents are shit. I HATE THEM!!!!! Ajhhhhmffidsosl!!! I wish I could kimchi slap both of them across the room. Maybe then, they'll grow some brains
I need the next episode like rn. Such a cute show. I admit I wasn't impressed by the first couple of episodes, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it rn. I love crazy plots in my BLs, but sweet and fluffy romcoms will always have a special place in my heart. I'm not ready for Duang with You to end😭😭
