I would've given this a 9/10 but I decided on 9.5/10 because of just how much I enjoyed this drama! Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air for me. There are many components of this drama that are either a hit or miss and for me, most of them were a hit. I did rlly enjoy watching, despite there being some things I didn't necessarily like, but anyways the good outweighs the bad. I do wish that we had gotten more romantic scenes like more kisses and all but you take what you can get! PHJ & JKJ have great chemistry, they completely sold me on their characters and romance, absolutely loved it. The magic was quite fun actually, especially when you see the trio of ghosts helping CCW. Which reminds me just how precious and warm the relationship between CCW and his employees were. The found family feels really clutched at my heart, and let's not forget Choi Geom! Jung Joon Ho never disappoints! Although the ending felt a bit rushed and all, I liked how they wrapped things up. It's also been a while since I've last seen a drama where you get to see the leads have a kid together! I loved that a lot :) anyways... From Now On, Showtime! was a great drama and I can see myself rewatching it again in the future!!
It's great that PB is able to reunite with the "Princess" in modern world but like SH said, she and the princess are technically different people. So is PB and CCW. Although it's kinda cute and funny that PB is being all sweet and romantic with SH, I really do prefer CCW and him being a jerk because that's what made me love his character in the first place. Hopefully this is just temporary and CCW will come back. Then again, he is still "stuck in his memories," so there's a good chance he'll snap out of it soon. (people mentioned it down below but yes, he has been getting "softer" after his character underwent much development throughout the drama including falling in love with SH so I wouldn't completely put it past him to retain some of PB's cute cringeyness with SH ;))
Also, I knew the General did something to betray them but just didn't know what until now. I can understand why he made the decision but also ofc a bit mad because his decision cost two lives. But realistically, I probably would've made the same decision in that moment. It's your whole family vs. two other people (and yes he was close to both of them... but it's family). I'm a very family-oriented person so that's probably why. It's definitely going to take some time to forgive him (especially in PB's case), but truth be told he's not a bad person at all. Just a person taken advantage of in a life-death situation in a split second.
loving the dynamic between sang wan and hee woo, I swear the bromance in this show is just great. also, I can tell the show is leaning more towards Hee-Ah and Hee Woo but I'm sorry I just don't like them together lol, Han-Mi has more chemistry with him imo. excited to see more! why did the chief prosecutor have to slap him like that smh
lowkey hoping there isn't any romance between the ML and the other girls (def not KHA lol idk why but I just can't see them together) because there's no room for it. unless they're planning on just hinting on it, which I won't mind but I still wouldn't be able to see him and Hee A together.
on sidenote, loving these bonds he's forming in his "new life." him and his parents, him and the old man, him and kyu ri + hanmi.
These kinds of movies are my kind of tea, I loved it based on my pure enjoyment! Park Hae Soo never disappoints and I liked the dynamic between him and Sol Kyung Go. I can feel a sequel in the horizons.... I'll be glad to watch it!
but she's the most annoying character I've ever seen in a drama + a cheater😠She should have choose an other…
technically that means she’s doing a good job though, with her role that is…. she probably wants to expand her horizon and try different kinds of characters, can’t fault her for that
Not sure if others like me, who watched TMOPB right before ELOD, think the same the first episode of ELOD feels…
It might be like that because their story in ELOD is different than how it was portrayed in TMOPB, and it's because ELOD is based on the actual novel. TMOPB writers didn't have the rights to the novel so that's why it might seem like watching two different kinds of stories with the same characters. But trust me, their story in ELOD is way better :)
this continuous amnesia plotline is very tiring and i'm sick of it. also, i'm disappointed how YG has been dumbed down to someone who easily got entrapped AGAIN by Sa Ra (he literally runs a company, how did he lose so much brain cells LMAO) in comparison to how he was at the beginning where he would literally take zero crap from her. and Dan Dan has to step up, she's taking far too long to do anything about the situation (she should've stepped up when he had amnesia and not doubt him the entire time, it's all about communication rlly), her character is being reduced to just the "live-in-tutor" and "i'll quit but the kids said no so i'm staying and then leaving," and ppl have mentioned this but she has less screentime compared to witch Sa Ra and she's the MFL like oml halp ;-;
