I would recommend watching Hana Yori Dango, Proposal Daisakusen, Hana Kimi (the 2007 version is what I saw saw and loved. Others say it's better than the new version), Lunch Queen, and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. :)

There are a lot of funny Jdramas with a light romance aspect too. I really liked Nobuta wo Produce.
