You’re not convincing me by making this into a me vs. “all of you.” You have the right to your opinion, I have a right to mine, let’s speak for ourselves and not make this into a group speak or a fight. People are allowed to not like your favorite actors, their acting, or dramas you enjoy. And like I said, I enjoyed the drama, I just disagree with you that ZLS and WAY made this drama “epic” because there was nothing “epic” about this drama to me.

I LOVEEEEE ZLS.. I’ve probably watched and enjoyed most if not all of her shows. She is one of my favorite actresses.

But I don’t think she delivered on this series, unfortunately. Not saying she’s terrible or anything like that, I think this portrayal is rather lackluster. For both ZLS and WAY, and if you know my history here, I’m a HUGE fan of WAY and was so psyched for this pairing.

The characters seem so bland and unmenorable with limited facial expressions. This drama was enjoyable, but I don’t think ZLS and WAY created anything “epic” in this story.

I think the story should be lower considering the script and directing is one of the weaker parts of the story, and I’d personally rank the cast a tidbit higher. But I agree with your overall general assessment. I think I anticipated this so much that it just failed to meet the hype, especially when we compare it to ALP.

This woman is only 35 and she already plays such mature roles! What a fantastic actress! I’d love to see her in a thriller.

It’s the makeup AND the filter. If you look at BTS footage and stills from filming, you can clearly tell the makeup department’s using foundation shades many times too light AND THEN NOT BRINGING IT DOWN TO THE NECK.

The filter isn’t going to just make their faced white and leave their necks and bodies darker. 😂

None that add ang value to the story. One can watch TLI without having watched ALP and still not miss any story.

I really wish dramas would stop putting chalky white makeup on actors. 😭 or at least get the undertone right, and match the neck to the face 😭😭😭

I just finished ALP and also restarted TLI. There’s no overlapping stories or connections except that YuanQi is their children.
