It’s an unexpectedly good show! Great pacingf well-acted and hilarious all around!

My only issue is with the HMU on the FL. The team did a horrendous job, and the wispy bangs look awful. I hate it when bad HMU happens to good people.

I think this series is underrated. It should have an 8+ score. The production is superb.

I don't know how Netflix took a masterpiece like The Story of Yanxi Palace... and then created this. Disappointment isn't an adequate enough word to describe the series. I wouldn't even waste my time on this.

Back in those days, even that big age difference was acceptable. Social norms, cultures and what we find acceptable change over time.

I think we should be looking at the story from historical perspective instead of measuring with our modern day ruler/yardstick. People who find certain stories not PC enough for them… should stick to American Disney and Netflix content.

TJC isn’t as tall and domineering as Sesshomaru, but I think he’d be pretty amazing as Inuyasha. I love the silver wig on him.
