I offer you some more of my random thoughts while watching this week’s episodes of ā€œSin to Love.ā€ No, that’s…
DA DA DA plot is still MIA and the script gets stupider by the minute, in another word it's pure gold for an epically bad BL fan!
Milk and full Moon fetish - check!
Idiotic plot - check!
Patch work to develop or worsen OCD - check!
I'm having a blast!
Thanks for your very enjoyable observations!

PART II - EPISODE 6 SUMMARY

So, I was so prepared to catch that miracle ending of episode 5, alas this time there's no replay of the last moments because our diabolical editor is a big tease!

Instead of that, we are back in captain sado-maso's BDSM joint...er I mean his lovely office and he is acting more weird than usual!
Starting with his zombie-walk to his bookshelf with a strange expression on his face he uncovers a barely hidden mini shrine of an elderly man.
First I thought it was his father/grandfather/uncle on the picture until he stripped naked from the waist up and two things happened simultaneously:
First, catching a glimpse of his well toned body promptly short circuited my brain and I had to pause the video to shamelessly ogle his sculpted torso, temporarily forgetting that I'm happily married!
Second, when I stopped drooling, I clicked play again until I've got the full view of the tattoo on his back then paused the video once again to take a closer look!

It seemed to me that it was a Yakuza-style ink job, but I wasn't sure until I let it play again and suddenly captain sado-maso pulled out a switch blade and sliced his palm open, then trickled some blood onto the candles!
Mind you, he was standing there in broad daylight with the blinds open like one does when paying homage to a mafia boss in a police station!

If that doesn't stop you in your tracks, the next move will knock your socks off!
Nope, not the pledge that he recites where he declares that his body still belongs to the boss and that his loyalty is eternal!
It's the magic trick before that, where he grabs A SINGLE TISSUE and wipes off the blood squeaky clean from AN OPEN WOUND that was leaking blood just a moment ago like a damaged roof leaks water after an ice storm!

The best part? The tissue didn't have a single drop of blood on it as he was wiping his palm!
Trust me, I checked it a few times by zooming on it!
Honestly, I don't know why he's doing crime, because he would be filthy rich just by selling his blood to pharmaceutical companies and hospitals, because nobody would ever bleed out if they can get the magical captain Kwon blood ointment or powder!
The ultimate dream for surgeons and hemophiliacs!

Of course busy bee, officer Min Ho casually walks by the office and freaks out, which is cute, because his owner...er I mean dear captain is otherwise always such a regular nice guy with a
heart of gold!
Maybe that's why he left the blinds open to scare the bejesus out of anyone who walks by!

What happened next truly warped my brain cells into a pretzel!
Night has fallen, but apparently the Moon no longer orbit around the Earth, hence every night there's a full Moon!
Werewolves and lunatics most be thrilled!
That's not even the craziest part of the scene!
Se Hyeon a.k.a. Smiling Tiger is sitting alone in his club and having an inner monolog of some philosophical mambo-jumbo when Min Ho arrives and sits down, his back turned against the windows where SUNLIGHT filtering through the curtains....AT NIGHT!

At that point I was no longer amazed by how brilliant the script was, I fully expected to be
floored by every single plot line that our genius writer(s) can throw at me!
They didn't disappoint!
Out of nowhere, Smiling Tiger completely lost his marbles and became suicidal, pulling out a revolver to play Russian Roulette in front of a bewildered Min Ho!
In the morning he had plans and just got his boyfriend back and took care of those urges, but a few hours later he was ready to check out permanently!
Maybe it's the full Moon that turns him into a looney bin!
I knew there was a reason for such a clever idea!
Lunacy on steroids!
Absolutely brilliant!

After taking a quick look at the evening rush in the city, we are back at the BDSM joint...er police station....where again we have SUNLIGHT brightens the office!
Maybe the BDSM joint and the club are in a parallel world and we are jumping back and forth?
That would explain the Windows7 and, the telepathy with the Mother Ship and the odd behavior of every cop in that place!
Min Ho has returned and after briefly harassing Seong Ho, he exits into the empty hallway that sounds like a busy restaurant even though during his phone call only a few people are passing by!

Our esteemed editor cuts back to the office and low and behold, Seong Ho got a laptop and he is actually have a browser open, but when he starts typing nothing happens on the monitor!
Even the cameraman got frustrated and showed the camera right in front of the actors' face to capture the baffled look on his face!

Meanwhile, we've got another look at the full Moon and we're back in the club to see what is Smiling Tiger up to after his mental break down!
He is still alone and smoking when captain magic blood sado-maso shows up with a little bundle in his hand and we've entered the last 5 minutes of the episode!

I must say, that as soon as captain magic blood sado-maso opened his little bundle of toys I knew that we'll be treated with a very special scene!
I don't know about you, but sharp pointy objects are not something that one casually carries around!
It's always exciting to see what happens when two nutjobs having a disagreement, especially when one is suicidal and the other is homicidal!

Naturally, Se Hyeon is doing the same thing that he always does, being brave for about 15 seconds before completely folding!
Pulling a gun on a psycho is never a smart idea, especially when you can't/won't pull the trigger and have zero fighting skills, but somehow he missed that memo!
He gets a second chance to end it, but here comes the plot twist, the gun has no bullets!
In retrospect, he should've thought about to check the cylinder even before he played Russian Roulette!
No wonder he was so lucky ...until captain sado-maso set the record straight!

Can I ask a question?
I assume, that both the writer(s) and the director agreed on the final version before shooting the episode, so how come that none of them thought that making a cop look like a pathetic, helpless coward who's begging for his life was a good idea?
I know, I'm not as sophisticated or visionary as the director, so I might be too ignorant of his artistic greatness, so I'm just wondering what am I missing here?
If anyone can enlighten me, please do so, because my brain leakage prevents me from comprehending the intricacies of such excellent writing!

So, Smiling Tiger sits by those deadly, sharp objects, but he meekly lets captain sado-maso redecorate his face, because grabbing one of those to defend himself is not something that would be logical, right?
Also, if he was a cop, did he skipped every self defense and hand to hand combat classes at the academy and they let him graduate anyway?
Not to mention that stabbing/cutting someone doesn't require any skills just a firm grip and a working arm!

Darn, I forgot that logic and common sense wasn't a requirement for making this series!
My bad!
So, with just one hand he's being dragged on the floor by his vest like a ragdoll out of the room!
I think captain sado-maso forgot about his toys as well!
BTW, why did he drag Se Hyeon away?
Maybe he needed a different environment for torturing his victim?
I mean a change of scenery could enhance the joy of one's work I suppose!
Another mystery that I have to ponder about until episode 7!

Of course this is only IMHO as always and I'll see you my fellow deranged members next week!

PARTĀ I - EP 5 SUMMARY
Well, we are officially lost in the mystical, nightmarish world where common sense, logic, knowledge of any kind and film making goes to die!
Just the kind of vacation spot that I always love to revisit so I can lose enough brain cells that I'll be matching the IQ score of an amoeba!

Silly me, I clicked play without considering the possibility that the next episodes could start with the ending of the previous one!
Big mistake!
Once again I was mercilessly brought face to face with that very peculiar "kissing" scene from last week and some of my brain cells instantly capitulated right there and then!
That taught me a lesson to never be this careless when I start watching an EBS (epically bad scale) BL!
After the shock of such visual assault...er I mean such romantic moments, the editor drops us into aĀ room where our psycho Min Ho is convalescing on a couch and thanks to our favorite hearing impaired sound engineer we can hear clearly when he swallows a mouthful of saliva! Then Ā captain sado-maso comes in to play nurse, but his methods aren't in the textbook of any nursing school as far as I know!
That poor big plant in the corner definitely got traumatized!

Meanwhile, the lovebirds hobbled to the car and after some injury assessment they were at it again!
Fortunately, our favorite jittery cameraman managed to find the best angle that mostly blocked the view of the action, so for his visionary take he should be awarded and get some bonus!

Back at (I assume) Se Hyeon's place another type of nursing is taking place that made me think, that there are some new techniques must have been developed that I'm just learning about, where first you unbutton the patient's shirt, shove the bottom edge of it into his mouth while he is balancing himself on the edge of the sofa!
I have so many questions!
I don't know who's the medical adviser on staff, but is he/she has ever worked in a medical field?
Did he/she ever treat an injury by him/herself?
I mean why put on a shirt in the first place, just so it can get in the way and of course, why would the patient lay down on that sofa or on the bed where it's comfortable?
It totally makes sense I'm sure!
Ā Oh, and their riveting, idiotic dialog and the "I've got a boo-boo can you kiss it?" play wasn't cringy at all!

In the next scene, it's the next morning and Min Ho is sitting on the sofa in the BDSM joint, also known as captain sado-maso's office, trying to tidy himself, but gives up halfway and he is in pain.
Then the aforementioned captain makes a casual statement that sends my brain cells frantically scrambling, trying to process the input! Ā  Ā
Ā "So it's your first time."
EXCUSE ME??!!
Can we just hold on for a minute or two....I might need more than that, because just WOW!
Are you telling me that Min Ho just got deflowered in his office, on that sofa while he is painfully injured to begin with?
In the police station/BDSM joint, where people come and go 24/7 ?Well tickle me senseless, that's some highly unusual plot Ā twist!
I'm in complete awe of the writer(s) ingenious move!
It's definitely not on many people's wish list to get their cherry popped under these circumstances!
The captain's next line just about finished me off!
"Drink the milk first."
MILK? WHAT? WHY? AND WHERE ARE THE COOKIES?
At that point my brain leakage Ā hit critical status and when some milk ran down on Min Ho's chin, I lost it!
The whole scene was so absurd that my brain cells had to check out, otherwise my IQ would've dropped down to single digits!

Unfortunately, I've had no recovery time, because we were yanked into Se Hyeon's bedroom, where he was soundly asleep ON HIS BADLY INJURED right side with Seong Ho spooned against his back!
The conversation that followed their waking moment was beyond nonsensical, including the "let's be brave" line after receiving captain sado-maso's dire warning, but we finally had confirmation that Seong Ho was a cop and for the right price can be one again!

We are also treated with some flashbacks that made me laugh so hard that I could barely breathe!
That police station really knows how to keep their files organized and safe!
Who needs a filingĀ cabinet, labels, any kind of catalogue system, when one could just throw highly sensitive and confidential documents onto a randomly stacked open shelf!
Or ever heard of a digital file?
I wonder how anyone could find any documents there?Ā
Maybe all those officers are psychics!
I mean it took Seong Ho only a few minutes to find what he was looking for!
Maybe that's the same reason that they don't need any Windows upgrade either, because they don't need to open a browser, just type things down for the Mother Ship and you'll receive whatever you need!Ā

On the other hand Se Hyeon has some difficulties because he is sneaking around in HIS OWN club looking for a ledger under every counter, then voila, there is a nice book laying around that reveals every dirty deed that all those corrupt VIPs have ever done!
Who needs a safe or Heaven forbid make a copy of it on a memory card thatĀ can be hidden anywhere?Ā I think I must be missing something, that is why I'm so baffled about this!

Our crafty editor takes us back into Se Hyeong's bedroom and I guess whatever magic ointment was applied onto his skin last night worked like a charm, because he was pain free and ready for some horizontal lambada!
He also asked Seong Ho a weird question: "Why did you run away?"
Um, I was under the impression that he ghosted his lover and didn't even show up at the airport to say goodbye, moreover didn't Seong Ho was sent to the US for work and training?
Also, when Seong Ho returned, he asked Se Hyeong why he abandoned him!Ā At that point I think our esteemed writer(s) could no longer remember which version of the story made it to production!

In the final moments of episode 5 we had a small miracle as well!
Kim Hyeon Seo moved hisĀ lips aĀ little bit!
I was ready to brace myself to watch another train wreck of a "kissing" scene then suddenly he moved his lips and I almost fell out of my chair!
I had to rewind it a few times just to make sure that I wasn't seeingĀ things!
It was very subtle, just little movements, but he actually kissed back his acting partner!
On top of that for a few brief moments they even managed to spark a little chemistry!
I don't know what brought on this miracle, but I will take it!

Of course this is only IMHO as always and I'll be back tomorrow with PART II -EP 6 SUMMARY!

Interesting points. On many I'd have to agree. But IMO it is choppy, disjointed and probably focusing too much…
'ABO Desire' is my absolute favorite because of Hua Yong! Chinese BLs are just on another level! The first 'Pit Babe' was OK, the second one was barely tolerable and I dropped it around half way through!

I think netizens who never read an Omegaverse novel or just vaguely familiar with the concept might find the NC scenes a bit too much.
Actually, people's lives revolve around managing their heat cycles and rut periods, because it's the most dangerous and unpredictable part of their everyday life and if it gets disrupted or imbalanced the whole social structure would turn into chaos!
These are not regular human beings, so they're not suppose to behave like a normal homo sapiens which is the main point of the Omegaverse!
This is a world of people of supernatural abilities that governs every part of their lives!
I agree that it's a bit choppy and at times seems disjointed as well, so hopefully as the story progresses things will get more cohesive!
Thanks for stopping by!

Firstly, this is not a BL but Bromance but either ways I don’t think the kind of romance in a series should…
I agree! There are too many problems both with logical conclusions and conducting a proper police procedure! Dragging a suspect to a possible murder scene, making him climbing over the fence, letting him opening and closing the front door, drawing the sidearm with one hand while they're hand cuffed together are just a few idiotic things that comes to mind!
Alas, neither the writer(s) nor the director cares much about authenticity!
At least the plot is interesting and the acting is good too!
