After all this, the only person whom I really rooted for and worried about is the one who'll get hurt the most in the end! YN is the only one who's never played a game or manipulated others nor did she leave any doubt about her true feelings and intentions! Her honesty, her bright personality and good nature stands out from the rest of the cast. I think I'm no longer invested in any of the couples may that be the past or potential repeat offenders. As far as I can see, none of them are brave or mature enough to face hard truths. Growing up is no easy task and it doesn't come with an age limit either! No matter if it's 22, 32 or 62, growth and maturity is an ever moving goalpost that cannot be reached nor can it be avoided or ignored without serious consequences! When the season is over I'll check the comments to confirm what I already know is coming. I only hope, when YN gets back to RL she'll find a very nice man (clad in denim of course!) who will treat her like a true treasure that she really is!
I knew that BH would break YY's heart! I can also predict, that IRL BH's heart will be broken by HJ once again! Their relationship will be based on BH complete devotion to HJ which wasn't enough for her back then and it won't sustain the relationship for long this time around either! At least YY won't waste her time and her feelings on someone who's still hung up on his ex and wouldn't be able to really give his heart to YY!
If you haven't seen Love (X) yet, you should give it a try if you have no objection to LGBTQ+ romance! It's a spicey Thai dating show where you could fall in love with someone regardless of gender!
After finishing ep15 I have only one question left: What the bloody Hell am I suppose to do on next Saturday.... actually, make that EVERY Saturday until the special episodes arrive???!! I never used drugs in my life, but I think I'm about to go through a brutal withdrawal!🥴😵💫
Hmm... Can I buy a vowel? Or a consonant? Maybe, I can purchase a whole bloody short essay from somewhere that is full of adequate words that can describe how I feel about TMS? If I say that I'm in love with this series, it's like stating that the ocean is wet. Also, calling Fan Xiao a red flag or a black flag is useless, because he is a PSYCHO FLAG who deserves his own universe! Honestly, when Hua Yong glided into my life in 'ABO Desire' I knew that I've found my ultimate PSYCHO OVERLORD who shall rule me until my departure from this world and I happily curled up into a ball at his feet, all content and complete. My declaration still stands, but Fan Xiao gets to borrow me from my Deranged Master for a couple of hours to be mentally and emotionally abused just for the fun of it! Alas, who needs sanity anyways? At this rate, I should just book a room in the nearest looney bin in advance! Who needs a Christmas vacation when you can have all the thrills on your own sofa for free? Happy Holidays my fellow members of Lunatics United!
After all that crap Van pulled he needs to be kicked out of the apartment ASAP! Farm needs to grow a pair and give that man-ho a boot for good! This type of red flag is almost impossible to turn into a decent person let alone to become a loyal and devoted boyfriend! Also, I'm getting so tired of watching Jerome constantly lying to Jinn! Poor Jinn is the only one who's been kept in the dark by both his boyfriend and his mom! This series should have got the title 'Lies 2 Lies'!
It's only the first episode and I'm way too emotional and stressed out! I don't think I'm emotionally stable enough (thanks 'To My Shore' for ruining me!) to watch poor Phoon getting put through the wringer from the get go! I mean, can't we just get eased into the bubbling lava of soul crushing pain instead of a drop kick? Abused and traumatized childhood is bad enough of a starter, but piling on a dead sister topped with a self-blaming survivor's guilt, insomnia, nightmares and abandonment issues is a wee bit much for just the first episode don't you think? Oh, let's not forget the eating disorder and the kneejerk reaction lying part, sprinkled with an ongoing LINE chat scam with his savior/ hero/childhood bestie and the secret love of his life! All that crammed into 45 minutes! No wonder that I'm bloody exhausted already! Someone just hand me a hankie please and lets suffer together!
I'm so worried that YY will get really hurt, because she is all in, all sincere and really likes BH! If I could give BH an advice, I would say that love that could truly last a lifetime shouldn't feel this desperately painful, especially not from the second time around! Hurting that much from the get go even after years being apart should be a huge red flag! Their first time around was a hot mess to begin with that shouldn't be "rewarded" with a round two! Just IMHO of course!
I’ll keep saying this To My Shore is one of the best BLs i’ve seen in my 15 years of watching asian BL. Hands…
I'm totally with you on that! I've been watching BLs for over 15 years as well and this series is beyond anything that I've ever imagined in my wildest dreams of what a true BL masterpiece could be! As far as toxic relationship trope goes this is the ultimate level that won't be reached for a very long time if ever!
I just have to say it again: This series is one of the best BLs I've seen in a decade! It is mind boggling to me how shockingly underrated this masterpiece is! Yes, you've read it right, it is a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned! The storyline, the acting and the production are all in the highest quality and I know that I'll be rewatching this many times over! If you value deep, meaningful plots that would move you and stays with you long after the credits rolled this series is for you. Not a wasted moment, no cliches, no fillers, no gimmicks! Raw emotions, realistic scenarios and thought provoking subjects. If you're into BLs only for pretty boys and NC scenes, you should move on to a different series! and The same goes for those younger audiences too who's not ready to step up from the cute schoolboy plots just yet either! For everyone else, do yourself a favor and give this series a shot! You'll be glad you did!
Honestly, if Junho would be just standing in front of the camera reading a dictionary for hours I would be still captivated! Since the first time I saw him in the series 'Just Between Lovers' back in 2017 I was very impressed with his acting skills. Then I've learned that he is an idol not an actor and I was astonished! In the last 8 years I watched every series and movie he's done and I even caught up with 2PM's greatest hits and all of his solo albums. Junho is the complete package for me, my ultimate K-drama ML bias! I can't believe my luck to see him back to back acting in a series within a single month! Christmas came early for me this year!
Haha i love it how people were supporting William and lusi's drama when there was age gap they literally have…
Well, the morality police always shows up uninvited, especially when it's the woman who's significantly older! Somehow they're conveniently forgot that this is fiction not a documentary! Further more, playing a role like this with the absolute certainty of the backlash that'll come her way takes guts, a huge dose of self confidence and plenty of skills to pull it off!
I don't know why this series got such a low rating, because for me it's one of the best BL series of the year! Maybe it's too dark/deep for many, perhaps the pace is slower than what most people prefer or maybe it appeals to a more mature audience. I can only say, that if you're only interested in either fluffy/school romance or steamy BLs, this one is definitely NOT for you! On the other hand, if you care for a good plot, not bothered/triggered by the subject of mental illness and/or scary, supernatural themes this series is definitely worth your while! Just IMHO of course!
