I love this show. It's so funny and relatable. This show brings out the guys' immature and childish side.

So funny I love this show.

Amazing detail to the costume design and landscaping. YQ lived in a building with so much character.

It really was such a shame cause it had so much potential and so many parts were cut and made a less cohesive storyline. SFL was so unbearable to watch that i skipped over her. I wanted a good ending but it was flat and it not enjoyable.

Despite the flaws in this show, I will be re-watching it a bit later too to gain a new appreciation of the work they put in and the amazing costume and feel of the era. The sweat and hard work they poured into this after watching the bts fell to crappy censorship. I also miss seeing DYQ.

That is a stretch. By far it is not the worst i have seen. The main thing is cause of the censorship that ruined it. I do think it gets better in the second half when things really pick up. I personally enjoyed it overall. However, it is ultimately up to you if it suits your taste.

It was fun while it lasted. This drama brought a lot of good discussion and analysis each week which will be missed. Saying goodbye to the wonderful cast for their hard work in rain and shine. Thank you to all the familiar commenters who invested so much in this drama to the end. Hope we meet again in another good drama!

I am not sure how YQ who is a fictional character escapes the KL cannot pass censorship. Frustrated with the lack of explanation leaving me guessing and making up my own alternative ending.

I love WS wardrobe especially the white, pink and purple colors. YQ also has so many to choose from and looks absolutely great in all of them needless to say. They did no justice to Fengling even though she was the antagonist as she only wore one bland outfit the whole time after they started the expedition. Isn't she suppose to the rich spoiled modern lady? Maybe the production team disliked her character so much so that was their punishment?

She definitely got it down pat for being such an annoying spoiled brat. So much so that I cannot ignore it if she plays an innocent angel in another role.

At first I thought he made peace with his death for the greater good but then the naughty smile and how he survived made me realize he figured out a puzzle to the star map to get out alive. But how did he get past the Shifu. I wonder why they cut out such a crucial plot of how he got to Point A to B. I forgot that DYQ has an incredible IQ to figure out things that no one else can. So hard to say goodbye and I already miss seeing him.

I am honestly not sure what type of rating I can give this drama. It doesn't deserve 10/10 because it simply isn't. I felt that if we were given 48 eps then we would have all our answers. I can't fully blame on the production team cause of the darn censorship rules (not sure what they are) but at the same time they should done a better editing job or gave us an actual ending that ties in all the loose ends while weighing the chances/risk of it being cut off.

Already expected. Just not a happy camper. Oh well it is what it is.

The drama is good for the most part and will continue to recommend it to other but the edited ending is just crap.

I need one explanation and they should explain it to us in simple terms of what the hell happened. They can't just play time skip and leave us confused like this. Tbf, I blame censorship but why do I feel like they still did us dirty? Sigh, very frustrated fan of this show.

I am flabbergasted that they just left it sticking out like that, I can accept that if they plan for a sequel but what are the chances that we get one? 0_0

What are the chances that we get a sequel to this show? There are still so many unknowns with the treasures hidden in KL, her Ladyship, if Tian Long really died, CYZ is still missing for the most part. I really didn't like the time gap and they just stuck a 2 minute final scene to make it a "happy" ending. So much loose ends left, I am not happy about not getting any closure of what really happened. Would it be impossible to even get a special episode to explain what the hell is going on???

Now you have me thinking what happened to CYZ, it's like she just disappeared and we don't know her purpose in this show anymore. I love the martial art scenes they did a good job with it. Despite it being a happy ending, I don't like how they just summed it up in 2 minutes. WS seems like a different person than her playful nature and YQ looks like he didn't age a day. Fengling and HB got together and YQ put a photo of them on this doctor's desk doesn't make sense, he should be putting his own family photo of him, WS and their kid (if any). What a shame, they should have edited it to make it flow smoother. I actually thought the last scene was just a dream that WS had before she wakes and realizes that YQ is gone then we see her reminiscing with her child about what a hero he was, lost in KL safeguarding its treasures/secrets for eternity but never forgotten.

I am not aware what the rules are for censorship, what types of scenes do they usually cut out? Maybe then I can wrap my head around how to tie up the ending.

It was like they combined two random scenes that didn't flow together. So confused for a slow-paced drama where I am used to having talkative character explain to me what's going on.
