While the drama had many issues, especially towards the end, overall I did enjoy it.

I completely agree that it's not the "safe" route as some are saying. The happy ending with the "and they lived happily ever after" is the safe ending. All others (i.e. sad and open endings) always get criticism like this one. There are also a lot more drama with happy endings than other.

I usually prefer clear happy endings myself but I actually love how this one ended since it made so much sense and it also ends on a hopeful tone.

Same, I tried watching "because this is my first life" and "the beauty inside" but I couldn't stand his character in both (the emotionless acting) but I really enjoy his character here

Never said it's incest and weird might not be the right word but if I think from the point of view of the grandfather it's essentially his granddaughter and grandson together.

Now of course there's adoption and all going into that which makes it okay but I'm not sure how the grandfather is going to take it. We'll have to see how the drama introduce the problem I guess.

Mirae's mother was adopted, so if she ends up being the daughter the grandfather is looking for I don't see how Mirae and Hyunjae can be together. They wouldn't be related by blood but it would still be weird.

I wouldn't say heavy but it's there. Both brother have a love interest but everyone is kind of busy on other things at some point

Absolutely loved it. This definitely should have a higher rating but I guess it's not the kind of drama that's very popular internationally

I really didn't mind the actress change like I thought I would. It also make sense that she's a bit more outgoing considering we see her with people she's known for more than a year and her big issue (with her father) was resolved at the end of season 1. To me she definitely felt like the same character albeit with some difference that should be expected with a new actress.

Yes he becomes a cop again. For hui geom it's not explicitely told but you can assume so. She did say she would stay to accompany him/keep an eye on him.
His mother also seems fine at the end but obviously we don't know for how long.

That was fast! I just checked by curiosity today since yesterday or the day before I only saw 15 ep out and got this huge surprise! I guess I know what I will watch after finishing what I'm currently watching.
