I was thinking of the queen of hearts soldiers in the Disney animation Alice in Wonderland. But yea, they wore that during that time, with the leather buckle over the shoulders. Even the ties around the calves on their pants and the very loose fit is historically based.

So I did a little Google “research” into the costuming and hairstyles of the Wei / Jin dynasties and am impressed that the costuming department used historical styles to that era. The boxy rectangular garment style was a thing.

Oh yea, I started reborn. Oh my goodness, my heart just aches for their characters. Sooooooo heavy. However, is character was kinda similar in 12L.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 but once you watch one of his dramas, you become an instant fan. His acting is exceptional, especially given is age. And it seems like he gives his characters his all. It’ll be interesting to see him in more diverse roles in the future. I mean I’ve only watched two of his prior dramas and they were both different but so good. I don’t don’t want him to be typecasted.

Yea, but honestly, he’s an amazing actor, not just looks. If you haven’t watched his other dramas, check them out. Lots of ppl enjoy Wifty. I was very impressed w/ his performance in 12L. The whole cast was amazing.

Hahaha….I heard Snow into Plowshare was way worst w/ who’s who. Ppl needed an intro to warring states history intro before starting to watch it.

Wait until he finally smiles and you see is dimples. Not sure if they might try to suppress that since he’s supposed to be cold but I can’t help but smile when he smiles.

The way this drama is set up in the early eps really reminds me of the Wuxias of the olden days of HK tv w/ Andy lau, Tony Leung, chow yun fat. Even the music reminds me of that era. I’m getting a bit nostalgic.

That is weird. I myself am enjoying but I can see how it’s not for everyone.
