It’s very fun and chill overall. He plays so many characters and he does it well too! You know it’s been so long, maybe you’re right about the open ending. I just remember the fun vibe. Landy and CXX were great together
Purely for my curiosity...can you give me some examples of the pro China propaganda you mentioned? I'm only at…
Off the top of my head,
- When choosing to go to the Chinese snow slopes, they commented how it was better than going to the Swiss alps. The tone was China is better. - the manager who was going to retire and move to the US to spend time w/ their kids commented how bad the experience was for his wife that she returned right away and decides to stay in China. B/c China was better. - of course, all the China is excelling and on the leading edge of technology, advancement, and expansion.
What a sweet enjoyable drama. No rushed ending. I’m still grinning just thinking about the progression of their relationship and the last ep was great. Feels wonderful to see a healthy loving family portrayed. I totally lost count of the kissing. Just love how the kissing felt so natural and sweet as well. Aside from the pro China propaganda, this was overall an easy relaxing watch.
It’s a drama that leaves you grinning from ear to ear and feeling warm and cozy on a cold winter day. But if you're looking for angst, action, or spice, then maybe an another drama is better suited.
I don't remember the names of the characters so I assume Joy is that lesbian girl and I think the whole point…
Xerophytes explanation makes sense. After surgery, her face has always been Alice Ko’s face. If you go and watch ep 1 of season 1, it will make sense why he smiles so sweetly at Pun Yu (Joy). Because it’s the chia Yen (blind girl who later could see but always xiao tung) he dated w/ after his first prison sentence towards the end of season 2 this is also revealed.
Does anyone else feel like the last 2 to 3 male leads paired with Dilraba have fallen flat in the chemistry department?…
Edward Chen is a Taiwanese actor. He was really good in the Your name engraved here. I also liked him in Lessons inLove.ad had some minor roles in Chinese drama land lately. So looking forward to him finally leading.
