Yes, surprising how it improves with each episode.

For me, FFL started watchable but I got bored and dropped midway. This drama started out meh but got interesting .

The two have different vibes.
Ffl more wuxia palace politics, war and romance. Fuwd more Xian xia, travel adventures while developing cultivation and search for rare items, and romance. I find Fuwd more fun and light where FFL more heavy.

It started out a bit cringy w/ the dated styling and female char’s personality but somehow it grew on me and now at ep 10 I’m actually invested. And fl is not annoying anymore.

Yes - I felt the same way like ester yu in LBFAD but then somewhere further along, it didn’t bother me much and she became a little cute - it’s that innocence but not dumb

Watching Fuwd too. And it definitely dates itself. Not very strong in choreography. The vibe is very not serious. Feels almost amateurish or maybe low budget. But we will see.

Daisy (Tracy) is a great actress. I watched her in provoke and didn’t even recognize her here. Hope she gets more roles and more visibility.

Bravo to the creative team for putting together such a quality drama! Engaging to the end. well paced for the audience to think and analyze even well after finishing each episode. I like da Hui hui’s confession about his capabilities - very good points. With the way it ended, I agree that it has offered us two endings (one with bxl & yzh at his place and one at the end ). I like both with the former one having an edge over the latter.

So……. What’s next? Had I not seen the sun? Maybe wait until the dec when the second half airs? The not married yet at 37 drama? Might be nice to have a comedy…. Decisions decisions…

Wow! Boy am I glad I dropped at ep 23.

The player got played. She was so relentless, forcing him to watch helplessly as she set everything up. destroying his reputation and his life. Just as Juan Che has warned him… the vibe reminds me of “the Usual Suspects” with Kevin Spacey.

Just finished ep 15. It’s alright, I was suspecting it. That scene was terrific. Wow…

He kept his cool the whole time

Ep 15 - crazy how our forensic logic blogger is involved with tactics that is the complete opposite of his brand - encouraging the spread of rumors - a very chilling reminder of what can happen in our fast paced social media driven world and how we can end up being used as an instrument causing tragedies w/o realizing it.

Finally opened your post after watching 15. This is a very well detailed and executed premeditated murder. She’s definitely very scary. Black widow.
