Watched some clips about it and it looks like a fresh youth drama. I may start watching it later.

Pick this up because of HMH. I just want to see his other drama after KTTPH. When I watch 1st eps I just surprise by how young HMH is in here, I feel like I watching a kid actor 😆 (no offense).
I almost drop this one after 3 eps but thank goodness it gets better on eps 4 and now I’m in eps 22 and HMH doesn’t look like a kid anymore 😆 (or maybe I just get use to it)

Yeah, I think because of the age of the FL. People have prejudice with the drama which I don’t think it’s fair if they never watch it.

I watched blossom of power for only 2 eps and put a hold on it because I didn’t want to see the reborn theme again, I need something fresh and come along KTTPH and I watch it from 1st eps til the end.
I heard about similarity of the ML but from your description above I don’t think I’ll pick up BOP again 😅
I love XW and XJ too much 😆

LITC is my first HMH drama and I love it. The chemistry with the FL also amazing there. Give it a try and see if you like it.

oh, it was when XJ put signal in lantern and XW why what is it for?
now I remember .. but the drama didn't show when XJ going down the ladder. Either they cut it off or not part of the scene.

There's a time when I hate him so much but in the latest eps, I forgive him a bit 😂

Someone said here that originally HMH dubbed his voice but half way or so, he's sick so his voice is dubbed by other artist that has similar voice as his.

Try Prisoner of beauty .. it's not as fast pace as this one, so it's easier to follow.

Prisoner of beauty also my fav historical drama but as you said, KTTPH is really fast pace and the political intrigue is more heavy in my opinion.

no, the 4th one is in crown prince wexin guard, that lady with a scar. When XW 8 years old or so (forgot exactly but then when he knows his real identity), Prince Jingan and this lady guard gives their token to XW.
XJ mother token -> Lejun -> Li mao -> Empress dowager -> emperor -> XW
Cui Jun -> Empress dowager -> emperor -> XW
Prince Jingan and lady guard -> XW -> use one of it as a bait to prove Lejun kill XJ mother -> empress dowager -> XJ -> XW
