Just watching some clips of the episodes and I think I know why everyone loves this drama, but not really for me LOL The ML is so cute and sweet but really I can't stand for the FL, her acting is so bad that I can barely see her in screen. I know her as an idol in idol group in Korea and I find it ok but watching her acting is just frustrated me, she need to learn more and I hope she will gets better in her next projects. The theme about video games is so fresh and I'm curious about it but really, I wish they can change the FL. The fatty guy is so funny, I see him in Love Like The galaxy and also love him in there, he's such a scene stellar.
Apparently this drama is not as good as I expected in my preference. I even think it's overrated for me :D Too many conflicts that scattered with too many people and I feel lost. Watching this since it's recommended in The Long Ballad but TLB already spoil me :D Both FL and ML are too perfect, almost never loose and I don't really see the character development. The memorable scene that I remember is when the FL drink the liquor from his father just too proof that he's loyal to the king. The frustrated scene is when that sister stab the FL because she thought that the FL kills her father, like whaattt?????!!!! this girl is sooo stupid. How could she thinks that way with little evident and why she's not trust the FL more???? and she became the leader of the sect!! This scene just like throw out just to show how that flower works.
I like Lusi as FL, she's smart and love to eat but she's too perfect. I never watch Yang Yang drama, even though everyone seems love him and his role here doesn't makes me love head over heels to Hei Feng Xi.
This drama is like a mix between Palace conflict and Kung Fu world and I don't think I like it. Somehow it confused me because sometime it's not really related.
Overall, I just feel disappointed because everyone recommend this drama but I didn't get the hype.
Finally someone who walks on Changge's shoes....Yeah, too much to bear, but that's also the reason she's a beautifully…
Read somewhere tht Changge and Ashile Sun are real life person with a bit different name. Itâs true that Changge uncle kills her father and family. Too bad this drama doesnât really tell the reason. Seems like her father wants to kill his uncle but since her mother tip him off, his uncle can fight back first.
I have watched The Rational Life and I like the story because it's not mainly about romance. The gap between CL is about 20 years, I can see that the FL is older than ML but I'm surprise it is that big gap LOL but anyways, I find the CL is so cute there.
Seems like this drama similar to that, even though the gap not as big as TRL but my jaw drops for that steaming kiss O.O .. I don't know if I can watch this drama, still can't get over with The Long Ballad.
Only watch couple of clips and see the ending and I knew it I'm not gonna watch the entire 87 eps LOL Their acting is not a question, the story also good, it is based on true story so you need to prepare your heart for the sad ending and I hate the ML character hahahaha
One of the of Xianxia drama is theme most likely similar and to me this drama focusing on the romance and I donât need to rake my brain to understand the story. Just prepare my cup of tea and watching it while munching potato chips. It makes laugh and cry and I really enjoy it.
The cinematographic is amazing, love the ost and the costume design team deserve arise. I donât think I ever love the moon supreme costume as much as Dongfang Qinchang.
Daylan acting has improved a lot since last time I see him in Meteor Garden. He fits the role perfectly. Every expression that he shows as a super power leader is gold.
One thing that a plus for me is the chemistry of the ML and FL in on amd off screen. I really enjoy their BTS. Just watching how Daylan seeing Esther so dearly in off screen already makes my heart fluttered.
Watching this after Love Like the Galaxy. I like that drama but I'm very surprise that I like Long Ballad more. I like the conflict in Long Ballad and how the smartass FL involve in it. Even though the romance is not as much as in LLTG but still I love it. It small gesture, no flowery talk and the development is very slow for 49 eps but the impact still there.
The second surprise for me is I love Leo Wu as Ashile Sun much more than Ling Buyi in LLTG (I think the costume doing the trick!! LOL) I found his role as Sun is more memorable to me. When I watch LLTG I found Leo as likeable actor but when watching him in here, Bam! .. I fell in love with him (and he's very very young!!). I'm glad I watch LLTG before Long Ballad, I might be disappointed if otherwise hahaha. Well, it happen for Lusi, her role for LLTG so memorable that makes her role in Long Ballad seems dull (I skip her part most of time).
What I hate of this drama is the manga/anime part, what's going on with the budget, it's too much and distraction of the drama flow and they way they put the real live person over the anime is disaster!
I forgive them about the anime because the fighting scenes are incredible!!! I didn't know that fighting scene can makes my heart flutter just like when I watched the romantic scene in any drama!! .. I even rewind the fighting scenes couple of times LOL - Cuju competition is amazing, I wish every ball sports will be like that! LOL - War in Shouzo is epic! This is my favorite scene. When she lost her apprentice, the Governor sacrifice his life for his people, Changge deliver the surrender city and found out about Sun, ugh my heart. - When Sun lost his mother and became berserk, dang my heart. Most of time Sun only showing his persona as leader but in here he showing us that over a leader he still a devoted child for his parents. Kudos for Leo acting in here. - Sun and Changge fighting in Tao temple. What more enchanted than our couple fighting together side by side - Sun shooting arrows for saving Changge makes me rewind the action again hahaha, he's so dang hot when doing it - And how could we forget when Changge and whole team rescue Sun in Danxiang. "Release my man" would never get old
Actually I'm still not really satisfied how they telling the end of story. We didn't know what happen to Ashile tribe after that, who became the leader? The scene showing Sun with his war costume so I assume he still in Eagle division but Changge in her Tang costume, it's confusing. Aren't they together in Ashile tribe or travel to places or living in countryside? I still didn't get it. Yes they're together but the drama fail to show it in the end.
Overall, I love this drama and I may need to rewatch it again for the fighting scene hahahahaa
