Thank you for your post!!! šI can breathe now. It feels stifle here for us Qi Min yearners. Like is almost…
I just read it (Thank you for sharing the link!!) and OMYGODDDD I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE ššš Why am I crying again! I came here to virtually hug my Qi Min yearners after my heart has been shattered into million pieces watching the last episode, and now I am back to tears again. I am about as desperate as Qi Min was for her, in wanting their alternate happy ending. I went back to episode 11 to restart watching their āfatefulā encounters so that I hold the memories of a Qi Min that wasnāt as miserable as in the last episode š I will rewatch them again. Pls feel free to come back here ANYTIME the yearning aches *sob sob* I am here, we are here
Thank you for your post!!! šI can breathe now. It feels stifle here for us Qi Min yearners. Like is almost…
and THANK YOU comrade aboard! I am happy to create a yearning space here for fellow Qi Min yearners. I needed to breath too! Indeed, he was the biggest reason I kept watching, and I would totally want another storyline of their own too. And it was equally terrifying and enticing how he remained so unhinged in matters of world, yet so vulnerable when it comes to QQ. He also wanted to give the world to her but the world meant nothing if she wasnāt in his. As I was replying earlier, by the end episode, him living as a less unhinged version of himself while being an utterly devoted lover didnāt seem too far-fetched either. Once he, THE Qi Min has learnt to let go for the very woman he would have burnt and churned up the world for, to me that flickered the tiniest, or a little more hope for redemption even if far away from complete reformation. Deng Kai did such a justice to Qi Minās character!
And nooo I havenāt read the letter! Where is it from??
hahhaha I would have liked to get a stronger glimpse of that too! But honestly? After reading the novel Xie Zheng,…
right?? but make it a decade maybe š Because after reading the Extra *ahem* chapters, I was definitely questioning his crazy. I am guessing those were few years after marriage? Even then his uncommunicative jealousy and possessiveness went so strong. I cant tell you how dumbfounded I was especially because I ran there first for the spice before even starting the novel. It was such a DRASTIC change from the Xiw Zheng I was watching everyday hahah
People will always try to act like moral police but I donāt think anyone who liked this ship actually wanted…
omggg we are on the same boat because my brain is extra deep fried from the vertical dramas too lmaoooo. Right here, comrade! š«”Anddd Exactly her last reaction gave me that flicker of hope (and also when he let go of her hand! didnāt miss that!). That maybe had they spent more time together with his craze for power now diminished, with her and only her in his view of world, two hearts could unite. It would have taken time of course, but oh well. Again, I am clearly NOT OKAY when it comes to fictional men
People will always try to act like moral police but I donāt think anyone who liked this ship actually wanted…
I get you! Honestly I was totally rooting for them in this life too, my weak heart lol. By the last episode, the way he was willing to let go, the way he in a way sacrificed for her, he took bigger and bigger place in my heart. Him willingly dying in her hands and lap ššš I felt that him being ātamedā into living as a less unhinged version of him wasnāt far away. Again, many might disagree lol. But I feel like they could have!
Itās true. The last ten episodes were total nonsense. The main leads werenāt even together, so I lost interest…
I feel you! By those last ten eps I lost interest in the main cp. Somehow even ep 38 couldnāt redeem the loss of interest to a big extent. But my villain loverās arc? I was down sat so bad. With each episode I kept feeling sadder because I know whats to come š„² Their arc was a big save for me!
I loved this shows idk how to get over it. but only complaint is that I was promised a more obsessive and red…
hahhaha I would have liked to get a stronger glimpse of that too! But honestly? After reading the novel Xie Zheng, sometimes I find myself appreciating them toning down his crazy because I get to enjoy both kinds lol. Ngl some of the chapters there even I was like woahhhhh back down there crazy, you are so different than the Xie Zheng I watch! Especially given that if they precisely followed the novel, some situations would have turned differently, and I am glad it didnāt. But yesss i would have loved to see SOMEEEE of it hehe
ALL THE QI MIN YEARNERS, gather here with me, let our emotional turmoils peak together. One of the biggest reasons I could keep up with so many episodes was because of this second love arc which enticed me beautifully. And I appreciate the makers of adaptation for giving us this beautifully, painfully captivating arc that keeps gnawing at some ( unstable ones like me) of our hearts. *Spoilers Ahead* While the pacing for our main cp slowed down or sometimes got boring, I had this delicious, unhinged villainās schemes, obsession with his woman, and love tribulations to look forward to. Oh my man YEARNS. The yearning he yearned, made me yearn for a villainās happily ever after too. Now I know that this man is the ultimate villain, BAD BAD. A sinister schemer, merciless kil!er, a villain without redemption. But perhaps, perhaps, not so much irredeemable in love; Perhaps. And this made me so desperately want a real alternate ending for him and QianQian. Where he gets to move her heart, where he is ready to give up everything for her, if it means he can earn the littlest love and space in her heart. And by the ending point? That possibility may not have been so far fetched either. My tears shed with him during the last scene, as he lay there in her lap, and as he listened to her voice in his final breaths. My heart HURT.
Even if in a universe he still remains unhinged, I know my girl QianQian could keep him in check. Even then, I wished for his happy ever after with a new beginning.
Before anyone comes at me with how unokay I am, I know, I KNOW š A girl can be weak for Qi Min, okay?
There's a lot of link in the discussion board. Someone also posted an epib version. Reading it now. š
thanks everyone! I went to the discussion board and finally downloaded. Reading it rn too!! The Qi Min extra chapter isnāt helping my unstable emotions especially after the drama ending for him š
Can someone spoil the ending for the SLs in detail please
Qi Min sacrificed himself to save her, and then died in prison in her hands kind of š So he shackled her to him so that she stops running away. During the emperor and empress āwelcomingā ceremony ish, a fight broke out. He was still being his villin safe when it comes to everyone else. But While dodging an arrow that was coming to her direction, he fell over the walls from the big height while simulataneosly being shot with another arrow. Along with him, because their hands were shackled together, QianQian fell over the wall too but our main girl Chang Yu grabbed her. Qi Min still hesitated to let go but Changyu kept screaming that she will die. QianQian already gave up, ready to die for everyoneās sake, saying āHe will never learn to let goā. Qi Min shed his tears, said āfor you Im willing to learnā and he in fact, let go. He pressed his hand, probably breaking a bone or sth, to free his hand from the handcuff, and fell down. He was still alive though, but imprisoned later. After a few days, QianQian brought him soup she cooked herself that I think she promised to make. But it was poisoned, as they both knew. He asked her to feed him with her own hands, which she did, but with shky hands. He gulped them down willingly, like he once said āeven if you poison me, I will gladly have itā š He then breathes his last moments in her lap. IM SO SAD PLS
I havenāt read the novel, but did go through some extra chapters for the spice haha. From what others are saying, Seems like this is one of those dramas where they really made a better version out of a novel. I hope novel version him did some real groveling after he pulled off the divorce stunt though? That would definitely leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Did she make sure he had to earn her back with some real efforts? Also from what I am seeing, they did tone his crazy down quite a lot, not in a bad away lol. I saw what he was like when jealousy possessed him and I was like, my dude, I appreciate the spice but, communication too maybe you know? š Drama him comparatively seems so much sobered
PHEW THATS SUCH A RELIEF! I thought he was gonna try to divorce and then chase her back, but I was already so disappointed lol. Thankfully thats not the case tyen! and thank you!
I wanna knowww pls! I am waiting for it to complete but I wanna know š And will they have any divorce or something due to her family background (her fatherās identity)
And donning the scholar outfit just to coax her out of the palace. It was hilarious. š¤£
Omg I went to read the extra chapters after you guys mentioned these. Man was actually crazy in head š The no communication jealousy and all night āinterrogationā? And repeat AGAIN that night when she returned from the palace, her waking up in the middle of night to uhm himm!?? I think the drama REALLY toned the crazy down haha
The first kiss was the forced kiss which lead to their separation in the novel, after which ML returned to the…
wow this gets wilder and wilder hahaha, Now I wanna skim through the novel just for them š Any suggestions on which chapters onwards i should start looking from? Completely ok if you donāt remember!
