For Example if we take MDL alone most of the users watches ROMANCE dramas or dramas that have Popular / Handsome Oppas...
So far this drama is good, story + acting every thing is on point, but if you check the coment section / watchers it doesnt even have the half of yet to air romance dramas like A good day to be a dog / Doona or the worst of evil ( Which has popular oppas)...
Very rarely a dramas with the underated actors / Non romance drama does well internationally.. .
I agree, one of the reason I dropped western shows for Asian shows. With the way Disney destroyed the Star Wars…
Yes you are right they made them popular worldwide but at present they are just leeching on Kdramas those streaming sites dont even have proper hollywood / other language hits this year KDRAMAS are saving them now, most of the Netflix hits are K TVdramas not originals most of the Netflix originals not doing greatly recently except THE GLORY...
Btw Netflix and Viki are the ones who made the Kdramas popular worldwide. Prime and Disney+ has nothing to do with current popularity of Kdramas...
Ps: This yr Kdramas are not that great but they are saving most of the streaming sites...
