Anyone know the Korean site to watch this? I watched Heart Pairing before on this but I lost the link to the site. Thank you in advance Edit: Found. Reply in Spoiler
Based on past Exchange, this kinda always happen so we can expect they are not the only 8 participants we shall see. Ji Yeon is also quite comfortable currently so it's very highly likely her Ex has not yet arrive even though she doesn't seem to express interest in getting back with Ex. But seeing your Ex with someone else will still feel something but she hasn't yet feel any sort of discomfort.
Based on 1st Impression from Ep 1: Ji Hyeon likes Yoo Sik Min Kyung likes Baek Hyun Ji Yeon likes Won Kyu Yun Nyeong likes Woo Jin They are neither each other's Ex-es
Based on message exchanging from Ep 1: Ji Hyeon send to Yoo Sik Yoo Sik send to his Ex His Ex send to Woo Jin (I'm not sure why) Woo Jin and Yun Nyeong send to each other Ji Yeon send to Won Kyu Won Kyu send to his Ex Baek Hyun should be sending it to Min Kyung, considering Ji Yeon and Ji Hyeon receive no message from interest or Ex.
Hence, Yoo Sik's Ex is either Min Kyung/Yun Nyeong Won Kyu's Ex is either Min Kyung/Yun Nyeong Ji Yeon's Ex is either Woo Jin or someone else whom haven't arrived Ji Hyeon's Ex is either Baek Hyun or someone else whom haven't arrived.
Based on 1 confirmation in Ep 2, Yoo Sik's Ex is Min Kyung, therefore Won Kyu's Ex should be Yun Nyeong Woo Jin and Ji Yeon's Ex-es doesn't seem to have arrived yet, therefore Baek Hyun's Ex should be Ji Hyeon
All episodes of the different type of cases and situations are truly "Beyond the Bar." Most comments here I see are watching for Romance but I am here more towards watching for the point of this drama.
Ep 11 was great because of the lovely pets and it was hard to watch too because of the fking Psycho.
We need a new law to torture such person to death just like how they think it is okay to torture the animals or people to their death. No lifetime imprisonment or straight death sentence for this type of person because they don't deserve a second chance and they need to feel how the victims have felt. They deserve an eye for an eye, and ML as a lawyer is not lawful to approach violence towards anyone but even the Police are turning a blind eye to this action because they can understand the "justice" Beyond the Bar!!!
I actually like the variety of cases testing the line in between the law and morals, truly "Beyond The Bar"
The latest case the client did wrong as she indeed kind of attempted murder, but the fact is that bully didn't die on the spot but she died after she got hit by accident due to jaywalking when the client wasn't paying attention to the road due to the cigarette on the carpet of the vehicle. The client didn't hit and run else I believed the sentence eventually wouldn't have been that gracious.
That said, karma is on their way? What the bully did made the client become this way. In some way, it's the justice of the client and the karma of the bully. Thanks to this bully, the client kinda made her choice to be imprisoned at least, but for the sentencing wise, the lawyers (the leads) are doing their best to help her sentencing get reduced. She isn't protected by the law for what she did, however, as humans whom can sympathize with her since the person whom died ain't some angel anyways, I believed the lawyers did great for the sake of this client.
It's somewhat very Grey that I feel it's hard to explain but I can totally understand what is portrayed in this drama. There's a saying that says something like rules are rigid, people are flexible or rules are dead, people are living. In the eyes of the law in consideration of the accused living, I feel that the judgment shown in this drama are still reasonable. Even real life murderers have the right to have their attorney where their attorney will also do their best to help these murderers get lighter sentence if they can. However, the difference is that these murderers generally are murderers in their blood, and in reality speaking, I won't feel for these murderers.
However, there was a case where 2 brothers kill their own parents because of their abuse and they did it to protect themselves and have since been sentenced life imprisonment. Alot of people actually wanna petition for them to be released because they feel they aren't that wrong in a way based on their circumstances. It's not like they are murderers going berserk to kill others, they only did it to their parents to stop their abuse. In the eyes of absolute law if we are only looking at the fact that these brothers killed their parents, then being acquitted murder can be either death sentence or life imprisonment. But if Beyond the Bar existed for them, they could have been free by now.
Again, I am not saying this out of some encouragement or anything, but based on each individual circumstances where nobody seem to be able to help them get out of the mess or trauma they experienced, I can understand their actions. They need to pay a price for breaking the law, however, isn't it possible to reduce their sentence considering their circumstances as well, as people who are living? Ngl, the people whom died kinda deserve it because they brought out the devil of the people they harmed. The aftermath is these people also need to pay a price for killing regardless of what reasons since that's law breaking. But I feel they still deserve to have their sentence reduced because if A didn't happen or exist, then B wouldn't have happened, and I think that's what Beyond the Bar so far has been about.
I was worried about Ms Kwon falling for the trap and ended up ruining her until I saw the scene where her associates actually warn her beforehand so I believed things are still within their plan. It's why that dude had pictures deleted although I am not sure why Ms Kwon wanna meet him again. Hopefully she have something on her sleeves to ruin him instead
Yes, there's definitely some transition cut due to editing but overall it's a good pieced together, uninterrupted case by case for watch compared to watching episode by episode.
Rushed ending. Feels that budget for this was decent, but somehow each episode have to be short for unknown reason, resulting certain transitions or cuts to be less smooth or missing depth.
Most have good acting here, except for ML2 sometimes acting alittle bit over. Enjoy watching ML1. Definitely feel that ML1 and ML3 are the CP instead.
Overall still a decent watch for something short and fast when all the episodes combined in terms of plot time. Salute production not wasting time on opening credits until the very last episode for precious time.
Sang Tuo is heavily hinted to be the son of the original scammer boss whom got killed by FoBoth MLs are definitely…
It's currently kinda 1 sided if I have to add after finishing Ep 23. Sang Tuo has abit of obsession with ML but ML is a very justice person so he is obviously not feeling the same, just wanting Sang Tuo to turn himself him as ML sees him as a brother.
Sang Tuo is heavily hinted to be the son of the original scammer boss whom got killed by Fo
Both MLs are definitely not on the same side of the coin due to their motives. It's sad as I wanted real bromance/BL elements, which I can only see between ML and Fei but not Sang Tuo as he just want to avenge his family by taking back the organization Fo stolen.
Good looking and charismatic. I know I saw him before somewhere but don't remember where. I look at all his past work listed in MDL but none I have watched. Currently watching Under the Cover.
Episode 3 not yet out. Sometimes this site is faster than the k site I usually watch but sadly it hasn't even though I know Episode 3 has aired

He seem like he still wanna be with her but she look like she wanna move on
They are still so young, being born in 2000
Ji Hyeon likes Yoo Sik
Min Kyung likes Baek Hyun
Ji Yeon likes Won Kyu
Yun Nyeong likes Woo Jin
They are neither each other's Ex-es
Based on message exchanging from Ep 1:
Ji Hyeon send to Yoo Sik
Yoo Sik send to his Ex
His Ex send to Woo Jin (I'm not sure why)
Woo Jin and Yun Nyeong send to each other
Ji Yeon send to Won Kyu
Won Kyu send to his Ex
Baek Hyun should be sending it to Min Kyung, considering Ji Yeon and Ji Hyeon receive no message from interest or Ex.
Hence,
Yoo Sik's Ex is either Min Kyung/Yun Nyeong
Won Kyu's Ex is either Min Kyung/Yun Nyeong
Ji Yeon's Ex is either Woo Jin or someone else whom haven't arrived
Ji Hyeon's Ex is either Baek Hyun or someone else whom haven't arrived.
Based on 1 confirmation in Ep 2,
Yoo Sik's Ex is Min Kyung, therefore Won Kyu's Ex should be Yun Nyeong
Woo Jin and Ji Yeon's Ex-es doesn't seem to have arrived yet, therefore Baek Hyun's Ex should be Ji Hyeon
I think it's pretty fine especially the ML

Acting are so good that I can feel for these supporting characters on their respective cases based on what they experienced
2nd CP leads are very healing to watch even though FL have quite a bad backstory but ML is there to be her backing. 🥰

Also, would like to see more of FL shining using her "Genius". Those were the scenes I feel spark some "Wow, Nice!" feelings for this drama
