You go Queen! Many have seen how authentic and kind you are as a person through your Live. We believed eventually you will win the battle against the devil, even if it might take very long, but you being you already won the internet. Brands love you for who you are, not the devil agency you were under. You have the support of many, and once you are out of your agency and the contract being settled/over, I am positive a new light will shine towards you even brighter for shining so brightly despite all these bullshit that is currently happening to you. We stand for you, and rooting for you!
An overall good drama to raise awareness about human trafficking. Just ponder on why some people whom still have past memory and awareness and are not caged by anyone, didn't seem to attempt to find their own biological next of kin until someone finds and identify them. I get that China is very big, but for the main part of China to be able to identify these little villages and reach out to them yet these villages don't get to do the same???
It's still an overall police drama so I get that despite the little screen time left, they show more about the police and their achievement recognition than family reunion. One major part that I was somewhat bothered is that they keep mentioning that Reunion Restaurant has helped many families find their family, but actually they didn't though. It's just a place for these people of similar background to be of gathering at one time, but the real work is still on the police. Of course there's still a little credit to this restaurant for identifying Wai's visit and all for example, but still.
Ran Ran found? When? Was it the Yoga teacher? Didn’t get a clue though i was at episode 26 now…
Jenny was hinted to be RanRan by Liu Gang when he asked her if she has actually met Wai in person. Wai previously called Liu Gang to "threaten" about RanRan etc.
So far the most touching story among victims of abduction for me personally is Yuan aka Xiao Guang
I mean he's not the most tragic victim but his maturity at his age and the love he have for his adopted Dad and acknowledging his biological Dad after realising what Lawyer Sun must have went through when searching for the abducted him all these years. What a kind and grateful precious child. 🥰
She is part of the abduction syndicate where she is involved, even if indirectly not hands-on. She instigate and monitor certain abduction deals, as Gang's personal assistant mainly. From an innocent child victim of being abducted to become part of the abduction syndicate herself, her birth mother Auntie Zhang and Deng Yan will be sad and disappointed. This is what she became after being groomed by the same abduction organization which abducted her and she doesn't seem to remember anything about her past.
Do people give this low rating because ML is hard to watch?
Story wise I think this drama have quite abit of depth. Character fictional but what they discussed actually make realistic sense. Also, the actors and actresses gave a lot of themselves into this piece of work. Nudes, sex, understanding about their own characters and putting their acting skills into performance. Nothing cringy, only personally I don't like old man and younger lady kind of relationship but this is what the story is about that can't be changed and I feel it shouldn't be a reason why rating get deduct points.
But ngl, a trash person like ML is indeed not very conventional for a drama in terms of ML. "Redemption" POV with less ego and less stubbornness doesn't really make him feel like a better character for me near the end. Not too sure what these women and male assistant see about him that make them like or be obsessed about him.
Poor Patrick and Xiao Wen deserve better than being used as a sidekick and merely sex toy after ML found "his new love".
I guess Ranran isn't Madam Hong considering that she is alluded to be a little older esp being in a long-time…
Maybe RanRan is that lady whom was shaking when Boss flare up at her, being near the Boss. Her age seem to be around the same as FL in terms of looks, so this seems more plausible

Glad Lin Ran was somebody else however, that scene of Liu Gang to Jenny was somewhat misleading when Wai spoke about Lin Ran
And I think he covets Xiu Ming's wife.

However, it's also possible to be someone close to the cousin cause the cousin would be too easy to guess from the camera view to the audience.
