JBL gets better and better over the year. I think this one is the best one I enjoyed this year. Healing, wholesome, not cringey (even when they are wearing those cute headbands) and enjoyable each and every episode which I am looking forward to watch. Acting of actors also very natural. Not a waste of budget. šš»
It took quite abit of effort because of how unpopular the actor could be but are Lee Tae Sung and Lee Do Han brothers or related? There's an uncanny resemblance for sure that bothered me and I need to find out whom Team leader look like when I keep seeing him and I finally found it. Not based on profile Pic comparison, but by on screen
Usually MDL is quite accurate in terms of the lead.
Do Ha is ML1 and Best friend is ML2. They are end game.
Plot is abit weak imo but nevertheless, the leads are greats. That sunset scenery is very beautiful but not too sure how much of the frame were colour corrected or even edited behind a green screen because it also look unrealistic.
Btw, the Team lead look like a fellow actor as if they were twins born on different years. The one I know but couldn't remember the name should have been around late 30s or early 40s by now. Edit: LEE TAE SUNG
I came here watching half way but couldn't helped but feel the urge to leave a comment about Baek Hyun and Hyeon Ji.
Very interesting LOL. Best conversation between Ex-es so far, feels like there's a possibility they can get back together. I am not sure whether to ship them or EXchange right now, standing neutral but I truly enjoy what I am feeling seeing Hyeon Ji brighten up that way. Not judging who is right or wrong and why they broke up initially but this is fun, really
And also, feels like lowkey the partipants already know who is who's exes and they are giving them the space they need to talk it out if they want to talk. The way they had to find "excuses" to why they are not convenient is already very awkward. The partipants know how to read the room considering their own exes are there and they 100% understand.
I read some comments. Personally, I enjoy the flow of things and reveals in this season as compared to the previous. It feels like the cut are much better done because whatever the panels are feeling, I am generally feeling the same way, so we are on the same page.
Idk why, but I don't want to be a judge to anyone based on their relationship with their ex now. Let them handle on their own and fix things if they need. So many are raging or siding certain sides as if they are relationship gurus. I wish them all the best in finding new love here and I can understand the pressure as they need to pick someone at the end of the show. This is the best EXchange Season for me so far.
ewww why are they having roy kim as a guest?š¤¢š¤¢š¤¢š¤¢
Wow, thanks for enlightenment. I didn't know who he was because I don't recall seeing him before while I watched severely Korean shows/drama. But ngl, he was physically/aesthetically attractive to me as I watched Ep 8 prior to not knowing anything about him but just first impression
She lost her charm in the show from the way she tries to approach the men. It was quite clear she was more into…
I agree. I feel alot have kinda misunderstood her.
Also, I think Qiu Tong have a bad impression of her after she apologise for the rigged Moonstone incident with Ma Hao Xiang.
Kong tries to apologise to Ma Hao Xiang but I think she never did for Qiu Tong, or maybe it was edited out I don't know. But since Kong initiated that idea, Qiu Tong may think she has bad intention although we as audience know it was genuinely good.
Either way, she is also misunderstood in many ways since some of the girls seem to have a separate clique of their own
The Universe owes Kongkong a guy that will go all in on her ššš
She lost her charm in the show from the way she tries to approach the men. It was quite clear she was more into Kelvin and Guo Zhen Tao but still want to know others as friends even if not lover
Kelvin lost interest in her probably cause the approach between both of them to know opposite sex doesn't align. Kelvin was clearer on his stand and more consistent. Not saying "getting to know the men" is wrong because that's what the show is partially about, however, the show is more towards having affection to 1 instead of trying for multiples and see where they may go. That's what the Chinese title of this show says.
Kong was slower in understanding her heart and made assumptions on some people are into her when they are not. She is a fine person, just not the type of girl these men are looking for. They are not the only men on Earth, so I hope she manage to find the right one outside of the Island and show considering she has so many fans internationally.
All I can say is she made the wrong move from the start, as she approach one after another only when the men showed they aren't into her. This is at least how it look like in the eyes of the Islander participants even though she isn't a bad person for sure. The rest of the participants only have 1 or 2 person they are interested in and they all have also showed it in their actions until they lock in to just 1 person, just like what Vinson, Kelvin, Pu Yan Yan, Guo Zhen Tao, Xiao Pan and Duan Dan Hui were doing.
Susu was popular as the guys approach her to talk, not that she wants to initiate and talk to them on her own. She sided more towards Ma Hao Xiang and she was honest about it to all the other guys she talked to. I would say the approach to this show regarding on how the rest are doing compared to Kong differs greatly.
The men became more initiative to just 1 or 2 persons once they have someone they know they are interested in. They were said to be passive in the opinion of some ladies but I feel that this could have been due to only the 1st day. They aren't really there to know everyone well as options.
But Kong on the otherhand has the approach in wanting to know lots more about the different men as if they were options to see who is more suitable, despite already seemingly interested in Guo Zhen Tao and Kelvin but she didn't realise until later, and kept on wanting to know other men like Ma Hao Xiang etc. To these people who have 1 person as their preference, it's probably a turn off for them, which is why nobody seemingly seem to be interested in Kong, even though she is kind.
Just finished Ep 7 and omg, I really like this season. It is so fun to watch. The ex reveals were unpredictable and the interaction between someone of their interests were nice to watch.
What Baek Hyun said at the end of the Ep regarding EXchange I kinda agree as it make sense. But having interaction with new people together can make one see their heart deeper regarding on their ex that they never knew. However, I still ship EXchange(s) for this show and especially this season. It makes me flutter for them and I enjoy seeing them smile, laugh and have fun than seeing them cry just because of some lingering feelings.
The new guy look like 2pm Taecyeon at some angles.
I agree that the way Minkyung and him had their first meeting in that chat room is the best entrance so far. It was so fresh that I got so excited when it happened too š
Some people say they hate the ending, but for me, this is one of the best illustrated realistic ending of life.
Not many get to end up with our first love, especially when our goals and direction with time set us apart. Maybe some people still get to keep in touch with their first love as someone still very important in their life, but if not, they are still part of our irreplaceable memory that we cherished, I believed. ā¤ļø
I have watched this some years back despite knowing/hearing about "not happy ending", but I don't regret watching it even though I never rewatch it as I still can remember how I felt about watching this. This was a beautiful first love story even for the OST.
I have opposite opinion as someone shallow. Hioki gets better the more you see him. There is some hidden thing he has that somehow he got more attractive, like hidden beauty you don't see at first.
On the other hand, I find that all the F4 ain't really that attractive enough for all the girls in school to swoon over. Maybe everyone has different aesthetics preferences, but I like Kurosawa and Adachi kind in Cherry Magic and Ida Kousuke in Love Mix Up! for example

He's obviously not the intelligent type for women to play mind games but need to be more direct
Alittle bit narcissistic but feels like he is acting over the top to cover some bits of his insecurities and as an "I" personality acting like an "E"
