The moment I read the word 'costume' I really gasped 'they're about to pull a Carrie' ...and yep because of course that's what was going to happen.
But the scene afterwards, it pulled my heart strings, not because of what happened. It hurt because the bubble has finally burst, and Phi addressed his pain, to the person that caused his pain. Tae is challenging him and he rose to meet him like a badass, beating him, even if he's being publically humiliated. He still won in my eyes. He wasn't crying because of Tae, he was crying because the only treatment that mattered was from Tam.
And I feel that, really deeply.
That one scene was beautifully done and has just made My Ex Morning my new No. 1 weekly show. That's a major step forward, even if it takes a few more incidents for him to work through it, it's still the real beginning to now, to getting these two to the top, together.
Because HELL YES! That's exactly the direction I wanted them to go. Tae's pettiness is going to be his down fall later because that act convinced Ge that she wants to help and exactly what I was hoping for, Build your own damn team again. Completely new people, unattached, cant be influenced by loyalty or clout, and that's going to make this journey so much more wholesome and I can almost taste the satisfaction because if I keep reading the screenwriters minds, karma is coming for Tae, hard and fast.
I kind of want his whole team to sink but they're probably going to get a pass and the camera crew. How about they all just suck with Tae together.
Also Yong - like a family huh? Seriously? You just sat and watched bro.
ahhhh, I had to stop after part 1 to come here and comment this - that opening scene, another layer to Phi's character and why he is the way he is. It's pack mentality, it goes right back into school. Nice bosses, teachers, anyone authority, if you are too nice, people walk over you. So you need to demand respect when you are in a position of authority. Compare that with Tae being an asshole to Phi, because we all knew he would, that was the point of that deal, the difference between someone who has worked their way to the top vs someone who has manipulated their way. He thinks Phi wouldn't do the little jobs because HE won't do them. It's easier to just steal someone's shine than to create your own. And I said last week, I hope he didn't take this offer, because we all know Tae is just going to humiliate him, so I fully expect him to be an asshole, but it'll just make it so much sweeter when Phi WITH his cherub faced honey boo get their billboard back <3
My Golden Blood was my highlight of the week. Now it's My Stubborn. My Ex Morning is hot on it's heels. All these 'My's. My Highlights π I won't apologise for loving this show, or any of My Highlights. I started Top Form thinking I won't like it and now I'm just like well, I've found what's going to entertain me until Sunday π most of the time, the show isn't bad, it's just not what you're looking for at the time.
I've just come from youtube where Idol Factory have posted video for Interminable's ceremony. The Sign is my favourite BL and it just suddenly occurred to me that Buddhism seems very prominent. I havent watched anything else from Idol Factory, and obviously Thailand is a Buddhist country, but just an after thought really. That both shows, The Sign and here, Buddhism is a very central theme. Here it's more about community and peace and how, fingers crossed, getting Yo to ground and mature a little. Just some morning thoughts.
Lol, now I'm afraid to go back there and check the comments. But there are a few die hard fans of the series,…
I started off binge watching so I think I've been unfair to a lot of shows in the past. I think having multiple shows to watch throughout the week is a much better pace for me to give me time to breathe. I havent binge watched anything in months now but I always feel if it's a more intense show, I might find it easier to watch a few episodes at a time instead of just straight through. It's a battle with my anxiety really LOL But I think I've found the happy balance.
Lol, now I'm afraid to go back there and check the comments. But there are a few die hard fans of the series,…
It's reminiscent of the first few episodes, just a slew of this sucks lol so it's not so much because we here, it's more that watching a show in parts helps make heads or tails of it, but when you watch in one go, you're a lot more critical because you miss the smaller details. It's like cinema, you're expecting something epic every time. So now I'm just thinking damn, try watching My Stubborn in one go, you're brain will be cooked π
I was just thinking damn, Wednesday is going to be so lonely without Golden Blood, so I went over there to commiserate and it was like that meme, of the guy walking in with pizza and it's all gone to hell π I recognise a lot of accounts watching the shows I'm watching while its airing, for every show since last summer, we are all making each other laugh and talking our shit out in the open for some group healing, and then when we all leave and the binge watchers come in, it's like a bomb goes off π there's no decompression with binge watching so the comments just become a Hunger Games arena with no mercy. Just verbal assault and hurt feelings everywhere, and now there's a morbid part of me that is looking forward to seeing this comment section when our little hippy circle leaves πππ
What I really love about this show, is despite being a break up service, the couples we've seen, break up on their own. With an exception of the opening scene to the serious, Break Up Service is more of a push or a mirror held up to them, and for all the couples so far, it's just shown them their relationship was already done or it wasn't what they wanted long term. And despite the hijinks of the characters, the couples deal with their issues maturely, most of the time LOL
Does look like we're going to have a bit of third party back and forth now lol
Just came from the trailer......so, how much do you think this one is going to hurt? LOL Because historical BLs never end well LOL Or at the very least, bittersweet.
This is one of those conversations where I've experienced both sides of the conversation, and it's just a matter of personal interpretation and comfort. We all perceive the world through our own psychological lens, and we then place that onto the character we're living the story through.
For me, and I imagination for most of us, it's Jun, and my interpretation of Jun is that he's still relatively new to relationships in general, not just gay ones. He's still in that awkward finding himself stage. He's 21? In my experience, people will go through a metamorphosis of character roughly every several years. Our psyches are designed that way.
So this is Jun's first one. He has a lot to learn, and perhaps he's never performed oral before. He was ready for it but we all know how fast and furious Sorn's libido can be, and I did interpret it as taking him off guard. I also interpreted the tapping as code for, 'hey babe, slow down' because that's what I would also be thinking during sex. I have even had to tell a partner once to slow down LOL It's all just a part of my journey in life and I will naturally imprint that on Jun. So I understand the people saying they were uncomfortable because I did flinch a little myself.
On the other side, I have said from episode 1, and I have seen a few others as well, call this show an old fashioned yaoi. This is what I use to read back in the early 00s when the internet was a much wilder place. Sometimes there wasnt even a translation. It was just a scan of the original japanese manga. And some of them were just wild and there was plenty of non-con. I dont feel any of this has been non consensual. It's been rough and impulsive but sometimes sex is
A good friend in college used to ask me to drag my nails up his arm, occasionally, because he was feeling frisky and liked it. At the time I use to do my nails like Druisilla from Buffy, and it became a joke that my nails were the nicest and he wanted to ruin them LOL
Random life story is random but I get it. It's just rough sex in this scenario. In reality, Sorn and Jun would need a safe word or something but in fiction, it becomes a safe expression of wild sex. I would be the first to drop something if were non-con. That's really something I cant stomach and I've genuinely never felt that way with Jun. I think he's shy and awkward, but I've never felt that he was a non consenting party in his escapades.
From the start, this is the kind of kinky show that will only appeal to a certain person, whether they're here for the NCs or just the pure wild gay randomness of it all, and I love randomness. I love ridiculous things. As long as everyone's having fun with it, it's really nothing to get upset over and I dont think it's meant to be upsetting to anyone.
And there you have it, another novel length comment from me on in this section, the caffeine must be extra potent over here LOL
Since I missed my opportunity to entertain myself during My Golden Blood with The Adventures of a boy named Tonkla, out of sheer laziness, I have decided to make up for it here. I made a casual joke about werewolves, and they served me 'choking on hot dogs and moonshine drunkenness' and I just can't resist.
So let me rephrase my previous comment into my new take on this show.
*Ahem*
My Stubborn Hunger - The trials and tribulations of a Wolfman, from finding trousers that can house his voluptuous booty cheeks, work as designer for a company and that's all you ever know, and being bound together with a delicious looking Wood Sprite that may break the curse once and for all, if only he can stop trying to eat him every 5 minutes.
Jun started the week like a mischievous little sprite, twinkling with confidence as he teased Sorn at his own game. I could see his little nymphette glow in his eyes. Unfortunately for him, he forgot that the man heβs toying with is cursed with lycanthropy, and every bold move he makes only inches Sorn closer to losing control. The moment Jun softly placed his hands on Sorn's chest and fairy walked his fingers onto his shoulder, the beast was awake and our little sprite was mere seconds away from being eaten alive right there on the staff lunch table, spread eagled I'm sure.
His confidence is growing and he revels in his new found power over his beast man, oblivious to the critical levels of peril he is placing himself in but rubbing his victory in the man's tormented soul and accompanying blue balls, nonetheless, with impish glee. It's cooking up a nice little supernatural disaster, dont you think?
Meanwhile, between the Wolfman frenzy in the conveniently empty toilets, I'll get back to that, we also have a Wicked Witch to deal with. Phut is her villain story, she's going to be drinking the poison potion soon that will dry up and wither her heart, and make her skin a lovely shade of green, much like Sorn's balls if he doesn't pounce on Jun upon every half of the hour. How supernatural wraith security didn't descend screaming the wails of the damned and throw her out of a window, was very disappointing. Phut is like a happy frisky little hobbit when he's high on Jun's pheromones and immediately transforms into Smeagol when she appears in a black smoke and a BOO! from the audience. HISS. She's got flying monkeys now and everything. Give that woman her broom, she's ready to ride in a ball of fire, and her target is our sweet little pheromonal Jun, because of course it is.
Jealously is a terrible look but I think our sparkly little sprite is going to have a doll made of him very soon.
Now, Jun. Sweet, naive little Jun. His roller coaster ride of an episode started with playful seduction, and then crashed into the conveniently empty staff toilets, to choke on Wolfman's very own hot dog. Now, I'm a blasphemous semi vegetarian faery, so I kind of choked with him a little for literal and metaphorical reasons. No secret that Wolfman Sorn is a kinky diabolical hound and nearly came again at the sight of his sweet little wood sprite, swallowing a mouthful of his litter.
He ran to the rescue of his mate when he was being savaged by the witch, told the gnome to grow a pair, caught some curry and brought it back to his den. Very domestic.
When Jun confessed over his rice and shrimp, I could feel his little dead heart beat for the first time in his cursed existence. A casual moment for Jun, a breathless pause in the battle against the evil forces for Sorn. Jun has no idea that the closer he gets to Sorn, Sorn's suffering deepens, and just when things seemed to be heading toward freedom, Junβs magic pheromones betrayed him again and Sornβs younger brother casually gets him in drunk on the family's dark magic home made brew.
Because of course, this show hates Jun. It hates us. Right at the moment of consequence, right as something monumental was about to happen - cut to black, like the Abyss of Eternal Mockery. The episode ends. Whoever planned that cliffhanger deserves to step on a Lego. That needs to be said twice. Please step on several, barefooted as you are running for the toilet *shakes angry faery fist*
Thankfully, the preview twinkled with the possibility of another drunken confession. One can only assume that Wolfman Sorn will howl and bay for wood sprite flesh within the following 10 seconds. The moon will be high, the magic will be potent, and the odds of Jun actually remembering his words are about the same as a cute little goldfish. But if it means Sorn suffers even more, his hopes rising, his control slipping, Iβll take it.
Destiny or disaster, this tragic, ridiculous, pheromone-fueled romance will have me grinning a mischievously faery grin, and sipping my tea, whispering, 'Sorn deserves this'
I'll just leave this here π: For the most part, semen is safe to ingest and may provide some health benefits.Semen…
Thankfully, I enjoy cooking, so naturally don't trust anyone else with my food but now every time I see a male chef, I will be battling a lot of intrusive thoughts π
I'll just leave this here π: For the most part, semen is safe to ingest and may provide some health benefits.Semen…
This comment just yanked a memory out of my psyche, one where I stumbled upon a collection of articles, written by men, of course, proclaiming the benefits of cooking with their own semen and sharing recipes. A movement nobody asked for, I'm sure but recall one particularly proud comment, recounting how he served a secretly enhanced meal to his unsuspecting wife, who now raves about his cooking while he just sits there, with a knowing smile.
It would seem, I had repressed this knowledge, only for it to resurface now, uninvited. So, thanks I guess? π
Hahahahahhaa, next time I get an email from my company HR, I'll just respond: "You're operating like a street…
Someone replied to me that they design and create furniture, that's why they have a factory as well. So Sorn and co are the design team. It never shows us the outside of the building so maybe it's a small building? But still, I cant help but wince at the all the conveniently empty hallways, staircases and toilets. I was expecting Thai or the reception guy again, to be in the other toilet π
The moment I read the word 'costume' I really gasped 'they're about to pull a Carrie' ...and yep because of course that's what was going to happen.
