I remember at the start every other comment was shitting on the show, and getting upset that once again, I was in the stupid corner enjoying the not cool stuff. Now we've gone the other way 😅 damn. Just like people, you can perceive flaws and still love the hell out of something.
I'm realising I have a thing for second chance couples LOL I havent had a Thursday show in a while so I'm looking forward to this one. I dont really know the actors too well either so, that's always refreshing
I may have started looking forward to this one 😂 The first episode had me wondering how long it will last, fearing another Sangmin Dan, but I think this is the sort of mess that I can chew my fangs on 😂
You know, I got really peeved with someone not so long ago claiming that they thought they were real, and used tarot to 'speculate'......so, this is nice to see the other side LOL
I dont really watch a lot of the interview/behind the scene stuff because I feel it breaks the character immersion for me so I cant add to that, but for the show, I do understand where opinions like this are coming from. Sometimes it feels fluid and other times it doesn't. It is there but it's not always noticeable, and I feel that may have more to do with the direction and the editing. I dont know much about Joss but I feel Gawin can do better, so maybe that's just how they've been told to play out the character/a scene, and then other times, they've had free range. It is very up and down.
I say we raise the NakanTonkla ship from the depths of the ocean with the power of fanfic and dramatic complaining. Golden Blood: Thirst Vendetta, a revenge-fueled, vampire romance sequel. Tonkla left to die, by those he sacrificed himself for, was resurrected by fan rage and shipping needs. His story continues kicking vampire butt, protecting from the shadows, and stealing the villain's heart. Coming soon to our imaginations LOL
A Requiem for Tonkla ~ The Forgotten, The Fearless, The Fabulous Ghost-in-the-Making
We lay to rest Tonkla, the most unprotected soldier in this vampire melodrama. The man who walked into danger dressed as the human embodiment of his hotdog suit and his zero survival instincts to match. A man who faced danger not with fear but with the confused loyal optimism that made him very stab-able.
He was a beacon of hope, standing strong amidst the whirlwind of friendship sandwiches, English literature and a professor who clearly wants to kill everyone.
He taught us that friendship sometimes means shrugging off concerns about your bestie impersonating you to serve drinks at a party full of bloodthirsty immortals and frantically telling you about it. He reminded us that a well-placed hot dog with ketchup could be a metaphor for resilience, but unfortunately, not a shield.
He spent his short life standing back for Tong - Mr. Golden Blood himself - because heaven forbid anyone prioritize Tonkla’s well-being when there was an emotionally unstable vampire tycoon waiting to use him for his own evil plans.
But did Tonkla complain? Well, a little, but did he demand protection? No. Instead, he turned his back on common sense and the very concept of safety just to save Tong, only to be promptly skewered by the writer.
Alas, dear Tonkla, your fate was sealed by a perfume bottle with more plot relevance than you. One spritz, and suddenly, you weren’t just Mark and Tong's forbidden love's collateral damage, you were the emotional weight of the plot twist, a victim of a prototype's assault that canceled all vampire magic, possibly including Mark’s very questionable healing attempts. Truly, we watched in disbelief as Mark attempted to save your life while neglecting the bloodied steel pipe sticking out of your chest. A medical oversight we can never forgive.
But fear not, noble Tonkla! In this universe, where vampires run amok in uptown Bangkok, there is still hope. Perhaps you shall return, resurrected by the sheer willpower of MyDramaList fans who refuse to let you and your ship with Nakan go. Perhaps your perfume-induced demise was merely a setup for your comeback as 'Tonkla the Immortal,' the real new head of Thara's gang. The ending he deserves, kicking the vampire ass that kicked his, and loving on his hotdog loving vampire boyfriend. Soulmates across series should always find each other.
Not one person thought of him, yet still, he protected Tong. Not one writer remembered he existed until it was too late, yet still, he smiled, for he knew, between his gritted teeth, that he will haunt their dumbasses bitterly.
Oh yes, my friends. He left this world not in anguish, but in victory, knowing full well that his ghost will lurk in every reflective surface Mark passes. That his spectral presence will manifest in every perfume bottle Thara ever touches. That his vengeful spirit will knock over every poorly placed blood goblet in Nakan's 'I'm an evil vampire' office.
Until then, we salute you sweet Tonkla. May the scent of Eau de Gold Sidekick be forever etched in our memories. May your spirit linger in every poorly lit vampire meeting room.
Gone, but never forgotten, because we won’t let them forget. Rest in peace? No. Rest in chaotic, eternally petty revenge. You were too good for this world - and far too unlucky for it's plot devices.
Let’s talk about the real chaos agent in My Golden Blood—Not Nakan. Not the Golden Blood. But that perfume.Yes,…
Isn't Nakan running a skincare empire? LOL. Do vampires control the beauty industry in this universe? Because if that’s the case, I bet their sunscreen formulas are awesome. I’m so pale I reflect the sun, so I need something strong to handle my own vampire-esque glow.
I've always loved the Halloween themed make up palettes and always imagined if I had my own produce line, it would just be a fantasy OTT extravaganza 🤣

Oh honey, if you stroll into a spoiler-filled comment section unwatched and unready, that’s on you—not on…
Request from me, I'll give you 1 polite NO with a kiss because I believe in manners, but if I see you deep diving through the comments planting your own ‘spoiler tag plz’ requests landmines, I will assume you’re a troll and personally book you a first-class ticket to the Land of Block. No return flight. No layovers. Just an express journey to digital exile. Bon voyage!
Lol, not sure what people are expecting to read in the comments. Probably a brief on last night's game between…
yeah, I understand if it's a novel spoiler or something the cast said somewhere but this is just ridiculous. It makes me think of that time i had twitter, or X or whatever it's called now, there was a trend for kids/conservative adults entering 18+ content areas online and requesting censorship, and the rest of us with a braincell were replying with, uhhh....claiming you're over 18 is the censor, wtf? LOL Nah, I'm not coddling you. Think for yourself.
Ok. I'm not being nice about this anymore. If you haven't watched a show, have some responsibility for yourself and stay out of the comments where people are discussing the show. Don't go around policing others because you have no sense 😘
