Yes, I liked it. The last few episodes get really interesting, at the beginning it’s kinda slow paced but there are only 12 episodes so I just went trough :D

Okay, just watched it. It was very interesting and the acting was perfect. I’m just sad, that there are so many open knots towards the end. Maybe someone would like to exchange thoughts on that part?

I swear I thought the same. It took me some time to see I was wrong. The whole thing changed for me but still finished the drama

Indeed! I am always very optimistic. I couldn’t handle if they fight for so long and finally have peace -> boom dead. Noooo I prefer the happy ending 😁

It doesn’t have skinship, but still a very good chemistry and love between the MLs.

You really should take your time to finish the last episodes … towards the end it really is getting better. And don’t always trust spoilers so much until you can verify it by your own. Everyone has their own way of interpretation. Give it a try :)

Although I’m rewatching it for the 3rd time, I always cry so much at the end 😭😭😭

It is, but still, the romance part is also very nice to watch 🙂

I’m my opinion all Chinese hirstorical dramas have. The first episode is like entering a new class and you have to remember them all immediately otherwise it could be that you miss something😆

This is a very well made drama and it’s definitely not for everyone. If you like politics on high level this should be your choice.

Just finished the drama. I liked the ML at first sight, I didn’t know him before. It’s so refreshing to have mature adults play roles like in this drama. Nini was amazing too! I liked her role in the rise of phoenixes so much!
I can really recommend you the drama. You see how every character grows in its own way and it’s so nice to see!

I really don’t know what to think. I just finished watching. This was a great drama but the previous ones still better. I was expecting something different I think. It became a bit draggy but that was okay too.
I know that DKW didn’t die as we see in the last minutes. He’s now at a quiet place where he can rest.
