This drama is getting nowhere,to me ,it is getting boring a every episode ,the funny or the comedy part are not…
Then you must be either boring or not following the sequence of the drama. S2 is more about court intrigues and scheming…. It’s like playing a game of catch. No much physical action, it’s more of brain work and strategies. Did you not read the synopsis 🙄

He knows he is the king’s son but he doesn’t intend to live as a prince. But that will make him more bolder around the king. Rmb when CPP was speaking to YBY’s father in the prison, he said the king is giving FX a warning, but even if FX understands the warning, he won’t obey it 😅

I agree with you. too much comic making even serious plots silly.
You guys chill because there is going to be a lot of scheming and plotting in this season, hence they start out comedic and build the serious momentum to it. He is going to be building allies and scheming a lot now, part of the reason he suggested Fan Sizhe to go to Beiqi to start business there.

Fan Xian made it clear in season 1 that he wouldn’t want to identify as a prince because of the power struggle for the throne when he was talking to YBY after he found out both their identities. He would rather be a minister or courtier and have his freedom. So he probably wouldn’t reveal that he is a prince or the king’s son.

Fan Xian does not trust the crown prince, he only allied with him temporarily to take the 2nd prince down since the 2nd wants to kill him. He mentioned briefly to Wang Q when he told him about seeing the CP. Fan Xian now does not trust anyone, not even the king or CPP, but he will ally with whoever is necessary to effect his own plans and schemes. When necessary he may even ally with the 1st prince.
