What a beatiful slow burn love story and I don't even like slow burns. Highly recommended. Lastly C-people are getting better and better at making dramas. My ratings are slowly catching up to to K-people.
This was such a gem, a dark horse out of nowhere. It has literally everything I love to watch. Beatiful and powerul main leads, woderful friends and family and a touching story.
This is the best c-drama I watched in 2025. From the writing, to the pacing, to the cinematography everything was just perfect for me. 7.7 just doesn't do justice for this drama so ignore it. Oh and let me warn you not to expect lovey dovey scenes. This ain't that kind of drama but you will fall in love with brother Dao! That I guarantee.

Yes but big but she asked and she asked because he was her boyfriend and she herself said she won't ask for any help from him. No sane lawyer will go for an out-of court settlement if he is sure he can win the case. The only reason why this ended in a good way is that she asked for a favor and he accepted. Would he have done that if she was a complete stranger? No he wouldn't so she is a hypocrite. I don't like it and neither do you I guess but it is a fact.

Anyway the reason why she was a hypocrite is that in the second half of their relationship she insisted that ML doesn't help her and let her grow by herself but then she goes and begs ML for an out-of court settlement and it was even mentioned by ML that she had no chance to win the 2nd trial. It's a shame because writers killed her character development for me at that moment and it was really going well for her.

They kinda made FL a complete hypocrite in my eyes (I'll eplain in a spoler below why) and the so called villain was so pathetic that they barely managed to spare him few minutes of the last episode... oh well it' not like poor guy was the focus of this drama. :)

It doesn't have anything to do with bullying but simple logic. She chosed to play a main role in a romance drama and refused to act in kissing scenes. According to commentators below the source material for this drama has a lot of scenes that include kissing so naturally people will insult her for that choice. She put herself in that situation and if she doesn't want that to happen again she should pick a project that doesn't include romance in its genre otherwise same thing will repeat itself.
What I meant of my statment above that "she wouldn't even get a 3rd lead role" is that if they still casted her for this role and knew that she refused to do kissing scenes and even after that proceed with her contract I can only come to a conclusion that someone is pushing her forward because no sane person cast someone like that for a romance drama.
And at the end let me clarify that I have nothing against her and even if its true what wrote above that someone is supproting her I still have nothing against her and I am actually glad she has someone like that.
I wrote so many words and didn't even manage to watch the first episode of this drama so lets end this here and I will watch later and judge by myself how good of an actress she really is because being famous means nothing to me.

I understood everything. I was just pissed off they killed granma. She was the best granma for both girls and a good mother to her daughter. Managing to hold on for such a long time after being bedridden was a miracle itself. It's just that even if I know everything you have written above I still feel it' a shame she passed away. Her death really gave some meaning to this drama. p.s. put the spolers on...

Wow no wonder comments below are mostly insulting. Even for me it's beyond weird to get a role playing female lead in a romance drama and get no kissing scenes. Somene influental must be pushing her otherwise I doubt she would even get a 3rd lead role like this. She should have played a role in some other genre otherwise she would continue to get insults like this. By the way is this worth watching?
