First of all there's absolutely nothing wrong with people who have a special place for Japanese productions in their hearts. 2nd of all pointing fingers and accusing others of slandering this show bc of it, is just a nasty move.
You love this show? Amazing. Enjoy it. I rate it "decent but nothing too special". Disagree and/or ignore it. But by saying that I'm not slandering a show or following any "agenda". Are u a child?

Also (can't believe I have to say this) but I watched around 10 (?) Japanese shows and ~4 dozen (4) Thai shows - guess you as a profil stalker knows it better than me - and that's already enough proof to you I have to be a Japanese "stan" who's out to slander Thai shows!?


So take a look in the mirror before you leave a "negative comment on an anonymous internet forum" to make "you feel better about life".

It IS a decent show, but still a 3 in MY OWN ranking so far. Like it or not. No idea what agenda you think you're smelling.
And no idea where I've voted CP 9 btw. Kinda tempted to do that now, bc it'd be more than fine had I indeed liked the show. Srsly. What'd it be to you?


And maybe you're rather young or rather new here, but at least try to consider learning to accept different tastes & preferences in shows or movies and how to not judge ppl based on that :)

The show is alright. But nothing too special.
Ironically I find the magic of the Original show is lacking in this remake quite a bit?!

But the chemistry in the Original series was also simply chefs kiss :) it was so very heartwarming & I fell in love with them in a split second. I'll forever cherish the first series, but this one will be "just" a decent one among many decent ones for me.

Unfortunately I'm totally with those comments 🙈 sorry. His acting is totally fine in normal moments, he does good with the sweet and/or nerdy parts as well as in the steamy parts ^^
But as soon as it gets dramatic, it's painfully obvious he's new - you can lit see he's trying, but not yet getting there. He probably will eventually, but it's a bummer for this show as it breaks the illusion for me.

But yes, next to Pavel & his incredible acting it's hard to keep up for a lot of actors :) shouldn't be an excuse or future go to tho.
Either way, now it is what it is, I hope for the best aaaand will read the novel :)

Ah ok, that's really interesting :) thanks for sharing this with us. Bc at least Charlie in the show didn't seem to hate himself. He was kinda bummed, but that was all. I mean he even asked if Babe is sad at all. Thought someone must've hit him on the head really hard o screen, bc what kind of question was that after everything so far 😅 but Pooh's rather emotionless-ish acting every now and then sure didn't help to make this moment make sense.

But then again...I'm definitely not Charlie's biggest fan to begin with. Not getting warm with that character (part bc of Charlie, part bc of Pooh acting him out).

Guess I should give the novel a try to change that!?

And not wanting to sound like a monster, bc of course in real life I'd hope that for him and be over the moon, but in terms of messages & feelings of a fictional show, I'd kinda prefered it, had he stayed blind.

Also in terms of rewatching. All this big emotional moments ... yes of course stay emotional, but also lose some part of it, bc now we know "ah, just be patient, it'll all be good in the end".

Maybe it's just me, but if my boyfriend would've put me through something like that? No idea how I'd ever forgive that. No matter the reason. Must've been worse than dying for Babe.

The show was much better than it's ending!! And it deserved better than that. Much better.

Kind of get what you mean, but at the same time since he/she wasn't insulting or slandering anyone or anything and just stating an opinion about a show they're watching, it's totally valid.

Agreed. 100% agreed. It's such a clichee way of unnecessary break-ups. In Thai dramas especially. The issue itself as well as the outcome. And with all the issues they had - this makes even less sense.

It's like with 2nd seasons. I'm always happy when a good show gets a 2nd season, but soooo many times it contains a break-up that is totally unnecessary (& let characters break character just to cause said drama). As if they think couples who communicate & handle problems together and god forbit grow stronger bc of it, are boring. No, they're not. It's the best thing to witness.

The show is amazing, so this is a bit of a let down!? But of course it doesn't change the fact that it's still a very good show, I just would've thought they'd do better than this with the drama at the end. So yeah, wasted potential.

After everything they've been through... they break up over something like this?? Mhok's confused face mirrored mine x) But other than him I added annoyance to the mix not heartbreak.

Day, love, even tho I kinda understand why and where you're coming from... that's stupid (but a classic go-to in romance dramas I guess -.- ).

Remember the rescue scene (just to name the latest example)?! That was rather hard to watch, the lack of energy on every level was crazy. So anticlimactic. Like he was breaking up a fight between to kittens xD

He does well in calm moments, yes, which is why I think he'd be great in a sweet slice of life drama for now and will eventually get to master shows with more complex plots, but for now...

And the constant defence/apology with "he's new" also isn't something an actor would like to hear, bc it's just a nice way of saying "he actually isn't that good (for now!)" and it probably also wasn't something the producers were aiming for.

Kinda agreed. The plot is decent. Pavel amazing! But my mayor issue is Pooh as Charlie. The role was way too early for him. He lacks so much energy, that many scenes are hard to watch. So the show had plenty of potential, and I'm still trying, but I feel like it's getting worse, not better.

I don't think having people say "well, it's his first time" or "he's a freshman" or "he WILL evetually improve" is what shows are or should be aiming for though.

I don't doubt that he tried his best, but that unfortunately wasn't enough. And at least I can't enjoy the show as much as I'd love too because of it. And apparently I'm not the only one. And that's really unfortuante.

And no, it's not disrespect if someone points out that he IS in fact still lacking acting skills. It's a fact. He'll get there. Probably. But this show simply was too early for him.

The drama itself is amazing, so are the actors & characters. EXCEPT for that sister. Serious question: Is she mentally ill? Her constant whining is unbearble. I even jump through some actually good scenes, bc she's also in it and driving me literally insane!

The only problem is... next to him Pooh's lack of decent acting skills is so clear to see. This rescue scene was horrible. I acted more emotional when UPS drove off with my package x) buts srsly, that's such a massive bummer :(

That was such a cingy rescue scene. Where was the anger? The feelings? The emotions?
I know Pooh's acting skills are in no way on the same level as Pavel's, but seriously... couldn't they shoot that scene again?!

Yaaah, sorry x) I for one really hope Pavel gets a new partner. At the very least until Pooh caught up to him. Whatever one thinks of Poohs acting, the difference between those two is too big for Pooh's good, since it highlightens his inexperience a lot.

Again, glad you enjoy it & please keep doing so, but to me the whole show is like wasted potential (I know sounds hard, but it could've been close-ish to a KinnPorsche level... but not like this).
