I know. I knew all along. I should've started this show for the show itself. But tbh I was only here for our LitA cast. Yet after 3min. it was already over and I was sooo bummed. Even tho I knew that too! Bad base to start the actual show from...

Yees, but Fort himself is only 22 :D so that's not tooo crazy. Fort just looks/acts a bit older and was given a character who has to be older than 22, so it kiiiinda works, but ultimately I think I prefer actors and characters around the end of their 20th (tho there're always exceptions ofc - maybe LitA even was an exception-ish?! :D ).
I just find it odd to see actors in high jobs, which they couldn't have at their age already. And usually everone around them is the same age, like ppl over the age of 30 or even 25 don't exist.

Everyone loves it, so I guess yes? I had my issues with it. Especially with the way the students acted (yes, they're young, but they often acted like they were 10 year olds with that constant pouting and their tantrums, which is why I highly struggled with the "semes" for a rather long time.) No idea how anyone could take them serious like that...
I ultimately also enjoyed the 2nd couple WAY more and to this day hope we'll see more of them in the future (especially after their cameo in HIStory4 <3).
So to me it was ooookay, but most love it to bits, so chances are there you might be one of them ^^

Oh no. That was always the confusing part to me. They already knew of Immortality's fate. Everyone already knew. I thought, well feared, they'd simply tune the love story down like it doesn't exist at all (tho is that even possible with such a high level of love like theirs).
Haaa, I just wished for so many reasons China would be a modern, open minded, tolerant and kind country (or rather w´ha such a government, but alas...).

New would be totally fine, but I'm kinda over these too young actors, I simply can't take their love story serious enough. Probably also bc I myself am getting older :p
So I'd wish they'd put the storyline into college not school. But I get when they don't and will still give it a chance. But god, I'm here for more mature series since quite some time!

Minus the actual love story tho x/

Is there another "addicted" remake in the making? Or is this show the one everyone was talking about? Bc I thought the remake wouldn't have to deal with censorship and all, bc it's from Taiwan!? But this here is clearly censored, so...!?

Read that too... tho a) China's censorship kills that kind of love to begin with, so it's never a real BL and b) does anyone really think the situation in China will get any better in the next 5 years? I fear it'll become so much worse.
I was wondering how they could film this drama of a huge love story between two men knowing what happened to Immortality.

The first look's a little too fluffy for my taste plus the actors look hella young, well they are :D but I fear I'm slowly leaving the fluffy young guys area :-O and prefer "maturer" stuff. And darker. God, I'm aging :')
Anyway, I'll still be giving this a try. And obviously are gonna watch it for the LitA couples (which I hoped at first had a whole sequel, but I take what I can get!).

I reeeeally hope we'll see both couples again with their own plots <3

Tho the "cliff" hanging scene... couldn't it have been an actual cliff xD srsly, what would've happened if he let go of Tians hand, he might've slighted down a little, end of story :D

Absolutely LOVED the last 4 episodes to bits. Pha & Tian are everything <3

I never grew warm with New's acting. This and the fact that his character Kao in Dark Blue Kiss drove me crazy, bc of his constant lying didn't help xD
So I have a dozen other shows I'd rather have a(nother) OurSkyy special about. Sun & Mork for example :D

So I guess Eternal Faith eventually joined Immortality in the same drawer, where China locked them away? Bc "beware" of true love when it's two men, whose love isn't covered up enough -.-

Think season 2 of the donghua might be with them too, huh?!

It could all be so amazing and sweet and full of love, but nooo... it's not allowed.

HOB is a much bigger & deeper love story than Romoe & Juliet (or any other tbh), no idea how they wanna sell this to us as a simple friendship.
Which is, by the way, a crime - killing their true love -.-

But hey, seems like they didn't cover it up enough (impossible like I said), because it's still hidden away. Probably in the same place as Immortality or season 2 of the donghua.
