There is always some imperfection in the word 相思(the title) either you want to see each other but cannot or you are in love but cannot be together.The characters in this story all have this kind of thinking at a certain age in their life .Xiao Yao,Tu Shan Jing,Xiang Liu,Xin Yue ,Ah-Nian all have their own lovesickness pain but in the end the song "eternally yearning for you" is sung for the male photagonist qiang xuan.
she also said it would be hard to make a drama adaptation bcz the Male lead is xuan who is the core of the plot where FL's lover is Tu Shan Jing,so in terms of the story she doesn't fall for the ML.Now many people told me to read the novel twice bcz i said FL loved jing but for them she doesn't so will they ask the writer to read her own novel again?I never even said anything to their opinion but they just want to force their opinions on other.
xiao yao fell for XL as well but he is more like a soulmate and confident to her,who understand her more than anyone but he can't gave her the life she wants for bcz he is bound by his responsibility and author loved XL most among all his novel ML's ,thus she creates him like that.
