i always knew that they can't end up together bcz it will repeat xiao yao's parents story but i just wanted her to know everything but don't think the author will do that bcz XL is her fav and the novel is also her personal fav novel so i don't think she will change anything from her fav novel. She literally treats LYF preciously .
i mean if her fav character is XL which she said herself then why she need to let her end up with TSJ. yes he is a perfect guy but she made him mentally weak in many parts by making him too kind and also he was disappear for so many chapters in vol 3. in the end the happy ending of them was forceful to me bcz i felt like she was going to give sad ending to all but suddenly she let her end up with jing by making xiangliu the matchmaker lol ,i would like if they made it sad ending I love her novels but this part annoyed me most,it's only my opinion. and it creates fuss when the fl ends up with a character but the audience fav is another character,i don't know about the drama fans but among the novel fans it happened.

the scene was when he drowned her and she was out of breath then XL pointed his mouth so the forcing she is talking about it meant he creates the situation intentionally so that she kissed him to save herself. but in the end nothing happened . and as for cang xuan he also never forced her even though he is a red flag,he kissed her forehead one time only when she becomes unconscious after taking poison ,learning that her closest person killed her lover,which was their most angsty part.
