but they made huge difference from the drama and the novel.

in the novel there was a final fight between shi ying and zhu yan with the villain but no one wins or no one lost in the battle ,they left this to their descendants(the FL of the sequal series is their descendant,) ,shi ying was a regent in kongsang for almost 30 years bcz shi yu was dead.but after his death kongsang fell into disaster,so the drama team changed it,shi ying himself solve all problems,here he was possessed by the god of destruction and sacrificed himself to destroy him which was different from the novel.even if he dies there are zhu yan,shi yu,qing gang,bai xuelu who will protect kongsang in future.
The ending actually indicates the title,he promised and wished that he will come to see her when the snowy rose flower will bloom and he fulfilled his promise that's why it's called the longest promise

it's ren min who said that it has good ending in the press meet and gives us hope,now i don't know what she exactly mean or other mistook her word🤣
i think after doing so many tragic dramas she thinks it's a better ending compare to her other works.
I though it will have HE bcz the novel had HE but now the plot is heavily changed ,the ending is also different.

yes and i saw it on many novel even if it's FL centric novel but don't know why the author made their FL worst ,i am glad the drama team changed it ,yes they can't fully toned down her character but still in the drama her action has reasons .
