Oh my Venus starts as a promising drama, but fails to keep up with the goals it set for itself. As for the story, a lawyer, who used to be a beauty (Deagu's Venus, according to everyone, and it should be mentioned that Deagu is the third biggest city in Korea, so the bar was set high), has changed into a overweight middle aged woman, she meets a personal trainer-secret million er, who has made miracles with over weight women in the past. The rest are, well, pretty much the same as what you would expect from a K Drama. Enough twists in the beginning keeps it interesting for a few episodes, but the very last ones were just not necessary, as the story drugged and the flash backs supported the whole episodes (fact that says a lot about the story and the romance). The main characters were okay and their performances were just enough to support the drama through the rough patches of the last few episodes, but the chemistry was weak and the story didn't help with that luck of romantic attraction. The secondary characters were sometimes the ones who provided enough entertainment for the audience, especially Henry, who was a delight for a funny pause during the heavy drama scenes. So all in all, 4 out of 10.
