We've been here before with another actor. I would be careful jumping the gun like this. Does she have proof he specifically told her to get an abortion? Does she have proof that the baby was his? Just having proof that you were pregnant and got an abortion isn't enough. Like I added before I am not saying I think she's lying she just needs a lot proof otherwise she will be held accountable in court.
If she has no proof then she is screwed they are saying they will pursue legal action for defamation and stalking. Agencies are not messing around anymore actors are coming out left and right saying they will prosecute. Think twice before you say anything on the internet....

Nice, he's always great. Glad he's starting to get more traction, I've always enjoyed him. Excited for the new mermaid one as well. If they ever do a live action of Death Parade he's my pick for Decim, those freakin' eyes, I think of Decim every time I see him lol (it's an anime/manga fyi).
Just finished ep. 14 (I'm watching on Viki) and my girl Chen Yao finally got her episode, wow that was freakin' epic 🤩. She is proving to have one of the most compelling arcs in this, hopefully they keep that up because I'll be honest her character was pretty dry until now. Really really good episode 👌
What I will always respect about Suzy is that she takes risks and always plays different characters. Because of that mentality I will be seated for every drama, and she will always be on top :). This one sounds interesting.

I don't subscribe to body language analysis, no offense, it's just not my thing. To me personally she didn't look uncomfortable at all and offered the information freely, and ignorantly. She admitted all of this in her apology too.
I don't disagree about internet trolls, but this is actually a bigger issue in Korea, to actual Korean people. It has made their national news. So, that is what I am sympathetic to. I understand their anger there, even while I think they are taking it way to far it is still theirs to take it how they want. I feel for her because she has a big hurdle to climb over with this.
Well yeah a celeb is a public figure which means they need to be much more careful. I'm sure if a regular citizen decided to post about their Japanese connections during that time publicly they would be fried too, not as bad as a celebrity of course, but fried nonetheless. It is a big deal in many Asian countries that Japan has wronged, and still has not acknowledged and/or apologized for. If we want to go there this wouldn't be as big of an issue if the Japanese government would actually acknowledge this so EVERYONE that was affected by them can finally move on. That's a whole other conversation though lol.
Lee Sung Kyung, she's been in a lot of heavier stuff lately it would be nice to see her in something a little lighter...and can you imagine the face card action 😍 lol

Actually you do have to be Korean to understand how Koreans feel. Every country has their own culture and way of doing things. You don't have to understand or agree with it...you're not supposed to. That's why I am very sensitive to not police other countries on how they want to address things in their own history. I am American...I genuinely hate my own country for doing that lol. . I do agree that the bullying is over the top. I don't think she meant anything by this, but like I said she fully offered the information on her own, now admitted ignorance through her apology. Now she has to deal with the ramifications of it. I just hope they show her a little grace, because I think her apology was incredibly genuine.

I have stated on another post that I am not Korean. So, while I do know the history, I will never fully grasp the generational trauma and socioeconomic ramifications of that time in history in their country. So, they have a right to upset and put out by her so freely offering her families Japanese historical connection without even a pause, clearly not understanding the significance. It was insensitive and ignorant of her. That being said I do not think she deserves cancellation over it. I never thought she meant anything nefarious by this, she was just clearly ignorant of it. This is a very good apology, and it's nice to see that she's going to have some reflection over it taking historical significance more seriously in the future. Judging by the internet this is not going to be easy to climb out of, but hopefully people offer her some grace after this apology at least.

I specifically went looking because you made a comment that they ask her repeatedly about her grandfather. They don't they ask her about her family of doctors. That's just an interesting fact about her and related to her upcoming drama. She is the one who offers the Japan historical connection. Like it or not she opened the door to all of this. I don't see her being uncomfortable at all, and it comes off as boasting because she's giving information no one ever asked for. She, herself, is taking it that extra step. She did not have to bring up the Japan connection at all, and if they already had that information then she could have explained it.

Defamatory remarks...oof lol. I stated remarks about PR. I have given no opinion on the facts of this case. Personally I don't care if he's guilty or not, it's a tax case...who cares? lol. As I have stated before I think what he's doing here is really smart PR and I wish him luck. Having good PR is no indication on whether he's guilty or innocent.
