it's rare for xianxia drama, all the ones I know have the same ending, just the leads reuniting at the end, this gives nothing🤷‍♀️ just feel often like a forced HE to me. The only one that come to mind right now that had a pretty good ending is The legend of Shen Li last year, other than that, it's gonna be more older drama

yes blossom had a good ending, an historical drama often has a better chance to give us a good and satisfying ending than xianxia or wuxia dramas

maybe I’ll check it out, I’m very tired of these ending. writers have no imagination, just dropping the same unsatisfying ending for every drama. this could be good for me if it’s not the very end and we get some moments, see happy moments for the leads after that (even a wedding or kids, I don’t know😅)

I just watch the end, can't explained what happened before ahah I just fastfoward very fast but it's the same damn ending as every xianxia drama...
happy ending of less than 5 min, meeting again at the end. It's the scene under the tree we see at the end of the episogue, I knew it would be the ending. well HE but disapointing, time to sleep😅

watching ep 29, I keep thinking it ahaha random thought but Fu Ling just looks beautiful in her knew styling, I love the color of her clothes too

so, finished ep 35. I’m confused how this will go. She saw the memories, but she still like MXK, not back to being Pearl. She just want to purify Zhao Ming because he was wronged and a good guy, and for her XXC is dead. how are they gonna get the leads back together ??? and it’s for sure gonna be in the last ep😒😒 She’s not helping Zhao Ming to get her lover back and she doesn’t love him. (and like aren’t they the same person? XXC is in there, I thought they would become one)honestly disappointing with how the writing went, feeling like we aren’t gonna get enough screentime and everything between the leads with so few eps left, rushed development and its gonna be the unsatisfying happy ending of the leads she meeting at the end and we’ll get nothing. I wanted to see more the demon lord, too much time on the past story

yes they definitely are. For that, I think Iqiyi is better, it’s a normal monthly subscription (more expensive than the other platform, but in the end you don’t have to pay extra for each drama, so probably less expensive in the end)

On Youku, SVIP you get 1 ep in advance (so the schedule is 1 ep in advance than VIP schedule). But it’s not a subscription, you have to pay extra individually for each drama for SVIP if you want it. And on Youku, to have the last few eps available when they release them, you have to pay again, it’s not included with the SVIP.
On Wetv, express include 1 ep in advance and the last few eps

on IQIYI it’s not buying express package like the other platform though, it depends on your subscription. if they make available the last few eps, you need to have premium subscription to watch them (If you only have standard subscription, you won’t be able to watch)

there are some technical flaws, but I'm really enjoying the plot, the leads, the characters and the different pairings. even the consort and ML's friend, I'm feeling this story, afraid for their ending though (I would just want them to end up as a happy family)

I am interested in them too, seems like they changed it? even on the characters chart, heart on both link between them. I remember reading in comments a while ago, that in the book, it was unrequited love, he never loved her, he liked FL till the end

it's always like that for many drama, the bts kiss is almost always better than the one shown. probably censorship or director choice🤷‍♀️, they often use angles, different shot, zooming out.. and we don't see much lips and kissing

I didn't like this either... that was disappointing writing :/ writers love their SML, nothing we can do😒😒
then they make him help her get her memories back... if she actually consider working with him when we get back in the present, that gonna be a joke

I've been watching the last few eps at 1,25-1,5x and skipping a bit when it's SML (but still trying not to miss important information), watching too many dramas, no time to waste if I'm less interested and if I can save a little time😅. too bad, it was my fav, I hope the next eps are better

I don't get writers sometimes, why do they do this. It close to the end I wanna as much as possible of the leads (I'm here for their romance), not the see more of the third wheel. They definitely do, but I feel no pity.... There was this one drama not long ago, in the last 8 eps, it was was so much FL and SML, ML had way less screentime. I was so annoyed. And the SML tried to kill her man, friends, kidnapped her, tried to assault her... they made him die saving her, she cried and even mourned him. That was a big wtf for me👀👀😂

I'm disapointed with this arc, I was waiting to see the past between the leads, but now I want it over. Too much FL and SML for me (I honestly don't care about their past or him. Don't need to see too much of it. the actor is good, but I had enough of this character)
Well looks like it one of those drama that fell short is the last 10 eps

well well ML is taking a liking/interest pretty fast ahah he doesn’t take another men's woman, but a widow is fine😏. That made me laugh for a sec
