A very enjoyable kdramavfrom TVN!
TVN is back with the type of content that many of us viewers are looking for! This kdrama is a high quality one, it has a strong villian character(s), and the main characters have sufficient depth and grat chemistry! The action, comedy, mystery all works out well! This story is a newer concept for kdramaland and it works out really well! I watch this kdrama on most days every week before sleeping. It has high rewatch value too! We need more kdramas like this!!It might be a bit predictable but its very much enjoyable. If you give the main characters three episodes for example, you'll grow to like them. I love 'Min Soo Hwa' played character especially. Such a wonderful comic vibe!

Kick ass movie with fresh action
This proves Korean cinemas ability to make high quality quality action flick with a woman as main lead even better than John Wick. It has a strong drive, very strong villain and excellent music. The strong female lead drives it through with her charisma and thoroughness. Such a well made movie. No nonsense sex scenes like the ones in Hollywood. There is no lag in the movie and the movie swings by in a zippy. This is a needed movie. It shows how today’s clubs massage parlours still have shady things and shady people. This movie literally kicked me out of my drama slump and out of the couch. I feel so energised after seeing it. It’s definitely not for the faint hearted.Was this review helpful to you?
Hard to find gem!
If you like the genres mentioned in the MDL for this jdrama, i bet you’ll regret missing this Jdrama. I’d say this is a very well acted, complete performance. The story is perfect for short episode count. The leads really take their work seriously and it’s almost like a movie so we’ll couples episode to episode. I’m new to Jdrama, I’d rate this as the top jdrama I’ve seen until now. I’d love to get recommendations like this jdrama from any of you.The ML is like me , takes his work so seriously (huh is that a complement, really?). He joins a new team and then on things are fast paced. There is no drag here and the characters act their heart out within the scope given. The jdrama is not ground breaking but it played its story very well. I’d appreciate the screenplay more than the story!

Intriguing and engaging high quality kdrama from MBC!
This kdrama is a highly engaging scifi thriller with hints of romance, with twists to savor! The cast nail it, the ML and FLs play dynamic characters with sufficient depth portrayed very well! The twists here are unpredictable! I bet you 10 MDL coins (MDL coins are hard to get for me) you'll guess the twists wrong! It's not just the ML, FLs, each of the characters has well-picked actors. Such a well-rounded performance! The OST is high quality too! Just stick around for three episodes, then you'll find it hard to drop out! Such is the pull and vibes in this kdrama! Don't mistake it, it has many warm and memorable moments too! This is a dynamic plot driven kdrama well screen-played. I've been a loyal TVN and OCN fan for so long! This MBC kdrama just took me by surprise! I was going through some challenging times which office deadlines approaching and a stress prone routine. This kdrama helped me get through all that as I didn't have anyone with me to shoulder me at this time! The way this kdrama immerses me is priceless!

Coming of the age with detective in the making
This is an easy watch. The FL is cute, ML is smooth and the screenplay is very entertaining, there is no lag or fillers. Each episode has its own agenda and uniqueness. The ML and others characters grow through episodes gradually. The story is simple yet intriguing. I found the interactions of the ML with his mom and the FL especially cute and enjoyable. Never have I ever routed for a ML this much in this genre. For detective lovers like me it feels like graduation after the end of this Jdrama. Best Korean thriller, period.
Nerve racking, not even a second wasted. This movie is the best Korean thriller. The acting from FL and ML is top notch. They get into the skin of their characters. You feel for the FL, root for her, and go to this roller coaster ride. What happens next? That’s the question in your head for the entire movies runtime. There is a good emotional connect between FL and her mom too. This is a masterpiece. Nowadays in the name of thrillers I see lot of Korean movies selling sex and some half assed story. Midnight is however no Nonsense thriller. This deserves a whole hearted 10/10. MDL viewers decided to park this in 8-9 category I guess.Some ranting
There are lot of Korean thrillers that people are crazy about. When going through YouTube comments section, I found people going crazy over Old Boy, handmaiden claiming them to be epic thrillers. My opinion, Old boy and Handmaiden are bull shit in the context of thriller genre. Midnight however is a masterpiece in the thriller genre.

This movie is to be loved with all our hearts! I couldn't help but get cheered up even though I'm very sick with a fever. The music is excellent! The story has great depth and the way it's delivered is inspirational!! Even the silent moments in this movie touch the heartbeats!! Real music comes from the soul!!

Good if you don’t have expectations
This is an above average jdrama that goes well enough to be enjoyable as a daily / preferably weekly once watch. It doesn’t push boundaries or have extraordinary stuff……... But it’s enjoyable and not too much over the top.It’s about a small restaurant and each episode generally focuses on one of the employees.
Cast acting and music is the most admirable. Light and short watch.

For the love of Ramen
The FLs are well detailed, deliciously unique characters that keep intriguing you and you can’t help but fall in love with them. This Jdorama is about a Ramen consultant company and their pursuit to solve their customers problems. Each episode is as delicious as the ramens shown, finger smacking. There is interest throughout from start to end. No scene is a filler. Each minute is placed with delicacy. While one FL comes of age, the other FL has a mystery aspect to her and an unforgettable vibe to her. This is indeed an irresistible jdrama.Was this review helpful to you?
Quality kdrama with focus on News reporters and getting together a cause!
This is for lovers of Thriller, News reporters/Media genre. There is slight romance and thriller is not edge of the seat! The strength of the kdrama is the screenplay and cast chemistry, it’s epic! It’s like they’ve been living together for years together. The casting is top notch! There are twists and turns too! The ML kind of grows as a person and the ML FL characters are strong, well written. The negative characters are portrayed to great standards. I originally wrote the below as a message to my friend Seori. Then I thought it could be a review too.Jeon Mi Do's ​Hospital Playlist 1 & 2 are very close to my heart, it was the setting in which I fell in love with her as an artist. I love the entire cast and their characters, especially the five leads, their friendship, everyday problems, laughs, normalness, weirdness! Takes me back to the good old college days when I had multiple friends who I enjoyed spending my youth with! It reminds me of the heartfelt moments we share with friends, some moments that we would perhaps take to our graves, I mean not in a grim or sad skeleton, imagine a happy skeleton that reminisces the bright and warm moments he/she shared before getting on the coffin (the skeleton dude must however get lonely once he goes to the coffin ^^).
Now coming to the actual review below.
Note that each of the stars here is more than capable of leading a powerful kdrama. But what happens when thy get together and live as the Hospital playlist characters is pure magic! The chemistry and the vibes are impeccable! I'd say this is like the korean version of the iconic English TV series 'FRIENDS' for me. Perhaps I love Jeon Mi Do more than I love Monica from FRIENDS. Don't take it wrong, this is not a comedy genre kdrama. It has a mix, MDL genres & tags would do justice in better capturing that! Moving on, I think the way the everyday normal lives of a Hospital bunch of staff, their hobby to sing together is screen played & directed here, is pure gold! Don't expect to get a peak of what it feels to be a doctor or a Hospital staff. This kdrama is one to be cherished, non judgmentally. Go with not expecting anything and just take it in. Trust me there's only good vibes here!

Need of the century!
Here is a Jdrama that is both entertaining and life changing. It’s what Japan and most Asian or any person needs in this century. Death by overwork is common in Japan and we need more jdramas like this. The FL gives her heart out for the role and so do all the actors. There’s exceptional character development and strong story line with central theme. Perhaps there is no other Asian drama so grounded and close to the reality of working class than this one. Unless you are a singer or actor or born with golden spoon you’ll find this the most relevant drama available.Was this review helpful to you?
Kdrama landprodices another one for the sewers
This Kdrama other than glamour, body show and cliches has nothing to offer. An utter mood killer and it fosters boredom.Why do we got more and more Kdramas like this in 2023? DOn't users deserve more depth in characters and something other than just glamour. Its very hard to see this kdrama joining line of 'Crash landing on you', 'Something in the rain'. Emphasis on ML, FL over story, screenplay has surged in Kdrama land. And I've come to hate the ML actor for that (I know he is not the only one to blame).
