I highly recommend you give this a try, the drama is popular for a reason. The cinematography, acting, and chemistry of the leads is very well done, since you're not familiar with historical Cdrama you might find the political plot confusing later on, but doesn't hurt to get started and see what you think

Yeah i'm so sad they didn't include the official wedding scene, its such a meaningful way to end the novel as they have come full circle from fake marriage to the real thing 😢
Those who are struggling to understand the palace conspiracy and connections between all the political figures, trust me, the novel was equally as confusing, I had to read it several times to really understand whats happening and what characters are aligned with which faction. Yes, the drama is actually very romance focused and the leads start liking each other very early in the drama so its not a true slow burn. Definitely recommend you give it a try, its popular for a reason
