IMO the deviation from the novel is a good thing, I read the novel and it is not overly exciting, nothing much happens in the first half besides FL trying to live her life while being married to the ML . The leads don't like each other for the most part. It takes more than halfway through the novel that they start to get together. The drama sounds more intriguing, but i hope they keep the last 1/3 of the novel where the leads are living a happy marriage with their daughter

She's actually very good at voice acting, I loved her own dubbing in Moonlit Reunion where she had a very sensual voice as cat lord. I can't think of any drama that she doesn't do her own dubbing

So basically you want FL to meet the stereotype of a docile wife who relies completely on her husband so her man can shine? Accusing FL of wanting to be center of attention while the main foundation of the story is about HER is wild.

Who do you consider as "reliable raters"? Yourself or only people who tends to have the same view as you? Whether a drama is good or not is completely subjective to the viewer, if people are rating this high whether because of the visuals (superficial as you call it) chemistry, plot etc.. its their prerogative, and its something that works for them, hence their high rating. I've seen many highly rated drama on mdl that I don't agree with and frankly don't think its worth the hype (not dropping names), do I think they're superficial? Maybe, but I could care less. As a huge fan of the novel, I agree this drama is not without flaws but the imperfections work for me, i dont believe in perfect dramas.

I doubt he has control over what events to attend, and also if he is a spokesperson or ambassador of a brand, he will be expected to attend as per their contract.
