Who do you consider as "reliable raters"? Yourself or only people who tends to have the same view as you? Whether a drama is good or not is completely subjective to the viewer, if people are rating this high whether because of the visuals (superficial as you call it) chemistry, plot etc.. its their prerogative, and its something that works for them, hence their high rating. I've seen many highly rated drama on mdl that I don't agree with and frankly don't think its worth the hype (not dropping names), do I think they're superficial? Maybe, but I could care less. As a huge fan of the novel, I agree this drama is not without flaws but the imperfections work for me, i dont believe in perfect dramas.

I doubt he has control over what events to attend, and also if he is a spokesperson or ambassador of a brand, he will be expected to attend as per their contract.

The changes from the novel I really appreciate is having XZ personally make all the gifts for CY. The wrist guard and the double blades ☺️, on top of cooking for her, he is sooo hubby coded 🤭

Ep 4 when she fell asleep on his hand, the way he stares at her and how nervous he was for being caught when she was waking up that he pretended to sleep. I think that was the point where he may realize his feelings.

She found him attractive, just like every girl in the village but I don't think she fell in love first.

Ok I'm loving all the 🔥🔥🔥 drops of the highly anticipated drool worthy bath/bed scene coming up but I'm getting a bit worried that it's going to be severely censored or cut down . If the hickey kiss didn't make it on screen, I can't see a full "love" scene will. I hope I'm provin wrong though 😭😭😭
