The novel/drama only gives a bit of their background before bo'er was born. We know that QQ was sold as a concubine to QM so I can't say if it was 🍇, but there is definitely no love there but pure toxicity. The drama is actually quite dark with portraying this subplot. There is some mental abuse on bo'er from QM. Just be prepared for that..
