He butchered the drama Destined. It was great in the first 10-14 episodes (very female centric and followed the novel)then who gave him the idea to change the narrative to suit the ML. He just don’t know how to write women characters well.I had to drop it when it had so much potential. Choice husband was just bad!
But I’m just going to trust the casts and director to make it watchable lol

For me, imho, every one got what they wished for but does not mean they are happy at the outcome. One got the kingdom united, filled his harem with “useless” space, and the other died a beautiful, dramatic death lol. Tong Hua the writer always tortured the reader but gives us plenty of angst and melodrama. That is why so many people are addicted to her storytelling and I got what I wanted from the drama haha
