I’m reading the novel and Song Qianji is an absolutely compelling and irresistible male lead. The story is very attractive and unique. It would definitely be great to film closely to the novel, what a pity! I’m already nauseated seeing the evidence shared by fans.
If you have seen the director’s response it’s the same as not saying anything. He is unwilling to directly say the name of the core role because his core role was not Song Qianji, but supporting roles A, B, C, and D. It's a shame how the production team is handling it and with such an attitude towards making a drama, not to mention grafting the male lead's highlights onto the side characters. 🥴The main male lead himself barely filmed any of his key scenes. The crucial thing is, the plan for the end of this month doesn't include it either. If they make changes later, the fans will definitely continue to support them.
