Frankly, I loved the kdrama. I don't want to hear any more “Kim Dami is a lousy actress”. She does an incredible job here, no I loved this kdrama and the ending is just crazy too.
I'm not going to lie, I agree with the comments. Beginning of kdrama very promising and could have given a good kdrama (not excellent or memorable) but it could have been a good kdrama, instead of an average one. The more episodes go by, the more boring it gets, and in everything, from the funny scenes (where there aren't too many left), although the actors don't do a horrible job here, the script is really badly done. The plot in Japan was really unnecessary and really not useful, to be honest, and then the SML/SFL characters, who are very interesting, aren't brought to the fore and that's a real shame here. I've lost a lot of interest in this kdrama and I've already given it a 7.5/10 rating.
I mean this is something that happens all the time in American teen shows as well! I don't know how it works in…
Yes exactly here and even in WHC or any other kdrama like that, there are actors but I don't know in what world someone can believe they're 17-18 😂😂😂 Then even Hong Minki who is a 2002 literally looks quite mature but it can still pass for this kind of role given he's in the age bracket.
Well please be specific. What EXACTLY do you think this drama needs... ? WHAT EXACTLY makes you speechless with…
I don't know how to say it, but for me it's clearly missing something. It's not the acting - on the contrary, they're all pretty good - but there's something missing to make me say “This is literally a 10/10”.
Question: In Korea, are there really no actors born between 2002 and 2004 who can play these kinds of roles? Why do they keep casting guys who are at least 25 or older? Seriously, that second-year student on the rooftop — are we really supposed to believe he looks like a high schooler? He even looks older than the guy with the mullet! 😂😂😂
Koreans are so funny with this — it's like, “Well, he doesn't have a beard, so it'll work.” LMAO. Sorry, but none of them look like high schoolers. Even *Hwang In Yeop*, who’s 34, can pull it off better because he naturally has youthful features. Still, it would be a stretch unless the production used heavy filters and whitening to make him look that young.
The problem with these types of K-dramas — like this one and *Weak Hero Class* — is that there are **no filters**, just basic makeup. And since it's low-coverage, you can clearly see the actors' skin texture, which gives away their age. Skin is a big giveaway: there are 16–17-year-olds with facial hair who still have that soft, youthful skin. But here, even the beardless guys clearly look 25+.
And the fact that it was filmed in 2022? If the actors are 27 now, they were 24 at the time — but still, way too mature-looking to pass for teenagers.
I've always wondered. The actors who often play the bullies in this kind of kdrama, often they have done 2-3 drama as a guest role or yet another kdrama in this genre. Some of them haven't even acted since 2018. The guy with the Mullet played the young version of Cha Eun Woo in “Gangnam Beauty”. I was wondering what else these people do? Because yes, okay, they're actors, but they never shoot, it's almost like they're extras, they've got to be doing something else. Some have Instagram accounts that can bring in money but others or they just have 10-20k. I've always wondered about that, frankly. Acting is a terrible business. A guy who can play less well than you can definitely be more famous because he has more opportunities and voila
Honestly the kdrama is good but it's missing something for me already. I feel like I'm seeing something too simple. I don't know how to say it but so far in no episode have I been speechless with shocked eyes. For me it'll probably be an 8.5/10 max. As for the Ost, I really don't think they're very good here. Anyway, I'm not feeling a Sageuk kdrama as crazy as “The Tale Of Lady Ok” we had earlier this year.
I've just finished episode 15 and I'm pretty sad about the end of Yoon Gap but it was too big to bring him back to life and Yook Sung Jae is 1000 times better as Kang Cheol and everyone knows it. The ending was pretty crazy too 😟
When I start an episode, I play the intro at least 5 times beforehand. It's one of the best intro/ost of 2025.

Not a fan of the actress, though.
