I really hope they give him a real actress and not a rookie just to try to make her breakthrough happen. The problem is that a lot of big actresses are already busy, and honestly I can’t really see who could star alongside him. There’s Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Se-jeong who don’t seem to be booked yet.
Does Ahn Hyo-seop really have that many fans? The drama is already at “21,487 viewers” — it’s currently the second most-watched Korean drama right now. That’s honestly crazy, especially considering he’s paired with a rookie actress and it airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 😀
y’all overhyping pursuit of jade lol,I guess you are a new cdrama fan
I wouldn’t say I’m an old C-drama fan. I’d say I started watching them 2–3 years ago and became a fan of quite a few actors and actresses, including Neo Hou and Lu Yuxiao. Now, I’m not exaggerating with POJ, but it’ll easily be in the top 3 of 2026.
I’m so happy for Park Bo-young. I’ve said it over and over again: Our Unwritten Seoul is the best K-drama of 2025. Even now, I still haven’t recovered from the emotional slap it gave me.
I loved the beach scene—it was so beautiful. This drama is crazy. We get a funny, memorable scene like that, and then in episode 8, Jin Man ends up with a noose around his neck.
Well, Heo Nam Jun still isn’t quite there when it comes to acting skills, but he fits this role much better than in A Hundred Memories, where I honestly wonder who cast him. Here, he suits this kind of role a lot better.
I’m so happy to see Kim Min-seok here again after seeing him in The Typhoon's Family. I honestly really love this actor. To be honest, I think he’s great in supporting roles, and I’m not sure he could carry a lead role, but I still like him a lot.
Since the end of Pursuit of Jade, C-dramas have been dead for me. I tried two and dropped both because they just weren’t interesting. Honestly, I really hope this drama with Zhang Ruonan will be better than her most recent one.
Honestly, this is Chae Won Bin’s first romance drama, and on top of that, she’s acting alongside a pretty established actor in the industry. I swear, she’s genuinely so good in this role. I totally understand why the writer chose her.
I’m really torn between continuing or dropping it. Honestly, I don’t find the drama hard to watch, and I actually really like the male and female leads.
Actress Chae Seo An is starring in two dramas airing at the same time. So proud of her. I still remember when she said she was working a part-time job while going to auditions.
When you really look at it, people mostly enjoy romance dramas with actors they are already fans of. A drama like this can’t really appeal to the general audience. The Asian drama community mainly attracts women between 18 and 30 years old. I’m not saying other people don’t watch them, but they are still the main audience, and this kind of drama just doesn’t interest them that much, and I have nothing against that. I’m a man myself, and romance is still 100% my favorite genre, but when a thriller drama is actually well-made and good, it’s honestly such an enjoyable experience. I’m not saying this one is a masterpiece, but it definitely deserves better viewership and more attention from audiences.
