no matter how much all characters wanted to undermine Kaori's obnoxious behavior, nothing would change that she was selfish and just because Masaki didn't accept to break up with Kanade, she tried to kill him along with herself. they tried so many times to make a sad story out of her death.. I wasn't sad that she died!
the destiny talk at the end was so bs! "from the beginning, destiny never intended masaki and me to meet. our paths will never cross." she proceeds to running back to him... I guess fl can't stop ruining her life for masaki!
I watched it only because I knew a bunch of the cast from other dramas. it's not bad but it's pretty much skip worthy!! it's very cliche and forgettable.
Most people seem to have liked the second half more than the fist with Ep 5 considered one of the strongest. It's…
I finished watching it and ep 5 was indeed the most interesting to me and made me want to finish it. I watched season 2 as well and I think it was better than the first one, although it had its boring moments.
the acting isn't as horrible to the point of making it unwatchable. it is entertaining regardless of the obvious low budget, meh acting and crappy production.
I started it because I was impressed by fl and ml's acting in their other dramas. so far they were good in this one as well. my only complaint about this drama is sometimes their mouths are literally closed when they are still talking! it didn't happen too frequently but it did bother me. I know it might have been due to changes of dialogues during the dubbing process but it was hard to ignore.
not sure if you already watched it since it's been 2 weeks since you asked. here is my answer:
it was both sad and happy. happy because fl could stay with him (not sure if they ever got married, I started fast forwarding a bit in the last 2 episodes), sad because his deteriorating state was inevitable.
ml's condition got worse as years passed, although he regained his will to live the time he had left and faced reality of his illness and stopped pushing away his family. the last scene we see if fl coming back home and ml is living by the equipment on bed.. probably the last stages. there was a text in the end implying that later on some drug was finally being used for it after the research.
Unfortunately I only endured 3 episodes and couldn't continue watching. I didn't enjoy watching the build up of their relationships, It was boring for me. but I decided to skip some episodes to see the main plot of the drama! so I stopped at ep 3 and started ep 17! tbh I'm impressed by both ml and fl's acting during their challenges with his illness. every other character was good too and made me emotional. but I would still mark this as dropped, cause I skipped 14 episodes! (which I do not regret skipping)
Here comes my unpopular opinion... fl is very unlikable. I've only watched a single episode and I dislike that she acts like she is in her puberty with all the faces she makes and how much ego she has. her condescending attitude is too annoying for me to the point I do not care why she acts that way. I felt sad for her dad through out the first episode... I can't continue watching. dropping it.
Happy Ending. mastermind was Duke Su and he got killed by fl's boss. the one who stole the map was fl's brother. (Su Jin Ning) Su Jin Ning died while saving fl. fl's friend and the officer (forgot his name) got together. ml's dad's name got cleared. fl's identity reveal in ep 20
Happy ending.3 years kip...2ml was still at the border.ml asked the emperor to make him a commoner and ml and…
Been a while since I watched this one, so I don't remember the details.. judging by general trope in costume dramas, I assume it might have had something to do with their ranks and status.
even the vertical dramas have better quality nowadays! it's really trash!

dropping it at ep 9.
though you need to register there first.
mastermind was Duke Su and he got killed by fl's boss.
the one who stole the map was fl's brother. (Su Jin Ning)
Su Jin Ning died while saving fl.
fl's friend and the officer (forgot his name) got together.
ml's dad's name got cleared.
fl's identity reveal in ep 20
I might have liked it better if the chemistry wasn't so lacking.. ml's acting was stiff.
ep 13 till 19 was quite boring.
