there is so much talking going on which makes it boring... it's as if all contestants are there to do some promo for their shops. Also it's all bread, bread, bread... just say it's a bread competition... there were some beautiful impressive deserts there but it's just too much about bread and it's repetitive and boring.
My biggest issue with this show is they don't clearly state why the dishes are failed. they just move on to the next...
I started watching assuming it would be like fl taking a break after being burnt out by her job and heals during the vacation (with romance as a bonus), but the constant annoyance I get from the tone of the dialogues bothers me. it stresses me out. idk how to say it.. the drama feels very busy/crowded with nonstop blabbering. the whole setting feels very fake and awkward. It's a shame, dropped at ep2.
I couldn't really watch the violent scenes of torture but overall it was a good watch. the backstories made me understand them more and I like all 3 of them. the acting was good too. I don't like the way they ended last episode because it's incomplete.. literally. I guess I need to find the 2nd season to watch it..
I need spoilers... I'm at ep 16 and I want to know when will fl and ml actually get together? (I mean without the back and forth "fl ghosting/playing ml as she prioritize revenge over ml" and "ml being a love-struck fool with family issues and a doormat") when will they get together and care for each other "mutually"?
I finally started watching this and right off the bat I'm confused by the choice of program for one of the judges. I can understand the reasoning for the rest of the judges but Mimi as a judge is not appropriate imo. even her intro was lame since she didn't belong there and it's a disgrace to call her 'master' as if she is as same standing as the rest and I think she talks way too much during judgement... her praises means nothing compared the technical opinions of the rest of the judges. if they wanted to insert her so much in the show they could've made her the 2nd mc.
It's funny how they looked down on Hong Seok Cheon because he was a celebrity and not a trained chef although he had been doing well in this business. he wouldn't have lasted long if he couldn't cook. (I know the owners don't necessarily cook but Hong Seok Cheon has said before that he comes up with menus for his restaurants. he wouldn't be able to do so if he couldn't cook and understand how line cook works) soon they stopped with painting him as the easiest competitor! each has their strength and underestimating others and acting like they know it all made some of them neglect important aspects in their own competition..
"fl meets Subaru after a problem befalls her best friend", in which the problem was ml! he sold her an…
I agree, could've been a nice revenge drama. In my opinion no amount of sad stories and traumatic past and family issues justifies ml behaving like that and be a fraud. (he wasn't even sad about it, mocking and looking down at the woman he scammed as if it was her own fault!). I'm also wondering how crazy things will get if the friend finds out the revenge plan has derailed into romance.
"fl meets Subaru after a problem befalls her best friend", in which the problem was ml! he sold her an overpriced mass produced painting and ditched her! I wouldn't have started if I knew ml is a fraud and fl is starting to meet up with ml in order to get back at him. the friend seems to have tendencies to do something crazy in future imo!
Anyways I'm not going to drop this yet since fl is interesting.
I wanted to watch this for revenge plot but ml is so stiff and has a blank expression through out the episode... not going to waste my time on this one. dropped at ep1.
so what if fl had a criminal record? she did her time. why act like she is on meth 24/7? her condescending attitude towards fl made me so angry.
the cops spending so much time on tailing fl... they might have found the runaway guy if they had put same effort in tailing him instead of stalking her! I can understand them keeping an eye on her whereabouts due to past connection but they are outright disrupting her life over some other guy's crimes!
she managed to annoy me even when they were arresting that guy at the restaurant! how much of a nasty person she has to be to make me instantly sympathize with a delinquent violent criminal? of course his request to be dining there would be rejected by police but how can she tell him that he doesn't deserve to eat proper meal???? who tf she thinks she is? I'm glad the brothers told him they will wait for him to get free and eat at their restaurant.
the ost is quite annoying! sometimes I feel like I have left a music open on another player/tab and then realize it's the drama itself playing loud annoying music.
they work based off of randomly accurate assumptions based on general discoveries... one of them even tries to imitate the scene of death which was cringe... and again gets everything right with no proof other than his imagination. dropped at ep 3.
